I love the amount of care Bandai puts into their Real Grade kits. Some are a little meh, but the Sazabi, the Nu Gundam, even the Unicorn Gundam(with its super tight inner frame parts) all look amazing. I really look forward to collecting this kit and the Nu Gundam one day

The earlier ones with the advanced ms joint inner frame are a hit or miss from what I've seen people say, but everything since the unicorn has used it less and less and it seems they're all really good. Sazabi, nu and hi nu especially.

Hello again and again great results with the build! i've read the comments on this video, and just wanna ask about some clarification. Sorry to bother you about that 😅 1.) All are tamiya paints right? about the primer since you said you didn't use primer for red and gold, i just wanna ask how many layers you did for red and gold? 2.) About inner frame how many layers you did as well? 3.) do i also have to sand the surface that will be painted or i just can straight up paint it? i really appreciate the answers bro, thank you as always!

@Armstudiogunplaspeedbuild
@Armstudiogunplaspeedbuild 3 жыл бұрын
Both of them are good kits. Sazabi is pretty solid. I think the shoulder won't break if you dont plat that hard. For Nu, overall is also solid but the way that fin funnels connected together is too weak to me even some people say it is improved version from MG. if I have to choose one, I would go Sazabi. I dont know much about posing. I normally do standard pose because I don't wanna scratch my paint job. But I can say both can stand on ground without action base.

How did you make the stickers so good and flush without any of the stickers be too revealing? (Side note I mean the semi transparent part looking nonexistent)
@Armstudiogunplaspeedbuild
@Armstudiogunplaspeedbuild 2 жыл бұрын
There are 2-3 things that I do when applying clear sticker 1.Make sure it lay on flat surface. It should not lay on any step, seam line or panel line. Cut and separate sticker if needed. 2.After stick it on the part, use q-tip to press it. Make sure it sticks well and no bubble inside. 3.Apply matt topcoat. Sticker and plastic have different shininess. Apply matt topcoat make them become same matt level. these just help to improve but the best solution is using waterslide decal.

Also, did you initially applied top coat first before applying panel lines and decals before sealing them in with matte top coat? How many layers of top coat?
@Armstudiogunplaspeedbuild
@Armstudiogunplaspeedbuild 2 жыл бұрын
@@hansderamos I normally apply flat topcoat by segment. But some areas are difficult to reach. Also, i dont apply flat topcoat on clear and gold parts. So, if that segment has these kind of thing, I will do by piece then assemble later. I normally dont apply topcoat before panel line. If you worry about crack, there is easier way to prevent. As long as you dont put panel line accent on seam line or part that having stress, It wont break. If you are not sure, just panel line before assemble. Only 2 cases that i do extra topcoat layer before panel line will be first, too flat painted part that panel line accent cant run and sink into the paint. So, it needs gloss or semi gloss topcoat before panel line. Second, enamel painted part. Because panel line accent is also enamel base. Therefore, need one layer to protect the paint before panel line. I hope this will be helpful for you. Have fun man

@@anastaway230 the problem isn't only over sprayed. it is also humidity. If it doesn't have any decals on the part, I suggest clean the paint out and repaint it. If there are decals on the part, you probably don't wanna destroy them. So you can try these ways. If it is only foggy, you can try gloss topcoat then flat topcoat again. If it is frosty (surface already not smooth?) you probably need to sand it.
