RGB sensor TCS34725 experimentation with an ESP32 on Platformio

I'd picked up this colour sensor as part of my Ebike smart charger project on the other channel and had decided to go a different way. Since I had it, I thought i'd try It out and see what I could do with it. Several different output applications are employed here to see what can be done with it. Nothing fancy, just having fun.

you did a really great job on this... i hadn't even finished the video before i ordered my sensor. (i did go through the whole thing. great idea of using the TFT (i'm working on a project using a TFT of my own). anyway - keep up the great work! and thanks Russ from Ocala, Fl.

Years ago I used an RGB sensor for testing a product we manufactured. We had a problem with the LEDs not always being placed correctly due to them being manually stuffed. I was asked to design a board that fit over the LEDs on the PCB, and would report if an LED was working or not and if it was the correct color during the manufacturing test. We didn't like to rely on the human running the test to verify the LEDs were correct. The sensor was I2C, but didn't have an IR filter or the white LED. There were 6 of the sensors on the board along with an AVR microcontroller and was connected via a serial port to the PC running the manufacturing test. It was a fun little project.
