marriage/divorce/livein/etc are on 1 side, and staying alone is on another side. If one is incapable of staying alone forever, he definitely needs a partner. Divorce comes into picture only when marriage fails. I guess there is no need to marry as long as one doesn't bother about society and the partner also cooperates. Can live together and try to make it work as long as feasible, and then move on to another partner in a serial fashion. COMMENTS❓

Exactly., that's the only solution. One should not give unnecessary commitments to their partner and regret later. Enjoy the relationship till the point one of the two decides to quit. Living in the same house is the main culprit in killing relationships in a short span. Couples living together interdepend on each other in almost everything and there is maximum interaction between the two. And this is where boredom/arguments/conflicts/difference of interests can be seen by each other. If none of the above happens then there is this line " familiarity breeds contempt " which kills the relationship like slow poison. So it is important to stay away from each other and this way you can have a fruitful relationship for a longer time. This has a longer expiry period coz of the less time spent by both the individuals. You can respectfully convey your feelings if you have lost the emotion on your partner and then move on to your next. This is what I understood from rgv and also looking at some couples I came across.
