This is, for me, one of the three best songs of the band throughout his career. When they only used sounds of typical instruments of baroque music. This music, gave its metal powerful sections, beautiful and magical. As Vivaldi did in his day.

Sounds Great. I like it. I really enjoy that he's not trying to sound like Fabio.

Sooner or later we all will get used to Giacomo. He has unique voice! Probably he will write the new page of Rhapsody's history, that will be remembered... who knows.

Giacomo gave a new life to Rhapsody. Dark wings of steel and into the legend sounded like the band didn't know where to go, and Giacomo gave them a new direction, which sounds great and new.

I started listen to Rhapsody in 1999. When i first hear their sound I was absolutely fascinated. It was something entirely new. One of the greatest power metal bands ever.

I'm slowly warming up to the new lineup. This is my favorite track from _Legendary Tales_ and even though it sounds radically different from the original, I love this new rendition. I had my doubts with _When Demons Awake_, but this sounds quite good.

I love the added power to the bass drum, it makes the change from the verse to the chorus seem so much more evident and powerful in my opinion.

Holy shit, this is actually really good! I was not expecting to like it this much. I really like how this is still clearly Rhapsody, but the new singer give it a cool refreshing wibe. Also this guy can actually sing in english. I will always miss Fabio and the old Rhapsody did somewhat died when he left, but this is giving me hope for the future. Maybe, like a pheonix, Rhapsody will rise again.

Guys, of course it won't sound exactly like the old version, but you have to admit that they did an outstanding job recreating the sound and of course Giacomo Voli IS NOT and NEVER WILL BE Fabio, but he did an amazing job with the vocals nevertheless.

I got to admit, I'm impressed with this cover. I like it much better than the original. As expected, it has much better instrumentals, but surprisingly, the vocals are just as good if not better than the original. Now I'm even more excited to hear the rest of the album.

If you listen carefully, like at 0:21, you can hear the guitars playing the old part from Thundercross behind the melody.

"The first version was the best" The original will always be the original. That's logic. You guys are most of all nostalgic and you refuse to grow up with RoF. Get that in your brain : Rhapsody of Fire is NOT the same band anymore. Stop expecting the the old Rhapsody. It IS different because it's not the same band. That's OK. No need to go crazy about that. Listen to this song like you listened to Legendary Tales for the very first time. Don't compare ; just appreciate. Is the music good to your ears? If yes, then keep listening to it and give it a like. If no, then maybe you should stop listening to symphonic power metal. The song is wonderful, a great tribute to the original one. It will never be the same thing but I can appreciate the five versions of this song. It is still beautiful and I can't wait to buy the entire album. Great job Giacomo and Manu!

The vocals are great. Fabio was amazing, though Giacomo does an excellent job too. Best part: he sounds like himself all the time, not trying to sound like Fabio

Este tema me ha gustado mucho más que "When Demons Awake". En esta versión de Land of Immortals se puede escuchar y apreciar mejor la voz de Giacomo Voli. Me ha gustado mucho esta versión. ¡Fenomenal! Hay que dar tiempo a la banda para que pueda crear nuevas canciones A MEDIDA para Giacomo... él está cantando temas que fueron hechos para Fabio. Las comparaciones son odiosas (e injustas). Rhapsody ha vuelto con un sonido más fresco y renovado. Superadlo o quedaos en el camino. Por mi parte voy a esperar a que saquen nuevo disco. \m/

Giacomo Voli is an outstanding singer, in my opinion he sings the song even better than Fabio Lione. The only weak point in this album is going to be the Guitar, his neoclassical style is unique.

And one of the most destacables facts is the voice, Giacomo Voli sounds A LOT different than Fabio Lione, and that is what most people hate, but why hate RoF, when you can actually enjoy it? :)

Rhapsody of Fire making a Rhapsody cover. Not bad, but...the Rhapsody was Rhapsody only in the two first albums, Legendary Tales and Symphony Of Enchanted Lands, true masterpieces. These two albums are among the better albums of metal history for me. After this, began the endless decayng...too sad.
