we met Flea in Grand Rapids. Blackie brought him over to our table after a concert. Flea was a perfect gentleman, and very soft spoken. Very kind. l called him "Mr. Flea" and he laughed. great guy. Rip Blackie

He's very good, far from being the best. But he has something many other don't: a particular and very recognisable style. And great taste to put the bass to the songs he plays in. This is as important as techniques.. so the full package makes him one of the greatest.
