Also one more thing about Dominik and one thing about Rey: Dominik was a worse version of Rey’s other million wannabes like Kalisto and Lucha House Party. It may have been bad booking, cause they’re all good in ring, but until Dominik there was no REAL POTENTIAL for modern luchadores in WWE. Even making the old Legado del fantasma into the new LWO was Rey’s brainchild, not Santos or Zelina. It was still and ONLY Rey making it work. If anyone else made that change, They’d be happy with the Eddie honor, but Rey was the only one to call Eddie a brother, so only he could have this work. I love the Lucha Libre style, but with Rey’s history, it’ll take a little more than Angel Garza or Humberto Carillo to modernize lucha in WWE, and I think Dominik will be the man to do it. He’s trained by the best masked, and grew up with the best unmasked and still studies them both, as well as not only honoring Eddie and Rey with the frog splash, 3 amigos, and the 619, but he makes his own moves as well. Lucha Libre seems to be in good hands.
