Thanks installed few years ago, just bought new laptop with windows 11 64 bits it works great, no exactly the same versionthan you, mine is lower, but installation method is excatly the same ! Thanks for remind the installation method !

Thanks for this I normally use com 1 for inpa. That's probably why I can't connect on ista. I wanted to aske how did you make it full screen. Also if i edit the obd file to com 1 will it still work. So I can use both ista and inpa without changing ports?

I’ve followed the guide to the T but when I try to launch the shortcut nothing happens. My computer won’t l let me download NET framework 3.5 as it has a newer version already installed.. everything else has worked though. Please help

Is it installed properly when you only get "Usage notes" when it opens? I see others have few lines more does it make any difference or indicates the content of the ISTA+?

Allways connect battery voltage stabilizer before coding! The software warn you before coding of update modules.

Any ideas on "failed to start ista. please make sure your ista configuration is valid. in doubt reset any non standard ista configuration and reinstall ista. " ?? Do i have to have standard tools downloaded first before I can then download Ista ?

I did. Wish I could tell you how I got it, but I don't remember. Took me a whole day to figure it out. But man, its been really worth it to have ISTA in my toolbox! @@Hindumase

Good afternoon all, Unfortunately during an ISTA D & DCAN silver cable fault code delete on my 2007 E92 330D, the laptop i use for diagnostics died. This has now caused all modules in the control unit tree to become red and unresponsive. The new 21 fault codes all show 'yes' in existent and a milage of -1. It must be because the laptop switched off during the communication to the ECU. Has anyone experienced this? Any help from ISTA gurus would be greatly appretiated. Many thanks, Matt.
