its a natural human reaction to laugh at uncomfortable situations or when you're scared. there is always that one person at the movie theater who starts laughing at the horror movie you're watching. also, if you ever see a high school student giving a report and they start laughing awkwardly its the same thing. your brain is trying to lighten the mood. also, half fact! if you shake when you have stage fright, that would be you resisting your body's urge to go into the fetal position.

I've never heard of that last fact! Makes a lot of sense lol. I remember when I was younger and telling my mom I was just flashed by my 40 year old neighbor, I was having to fight a smile. I never understood why until later.

Oh yh I laugh at the movie theater when watching horror movie cuz it real funny .-. , I never smile or laugh when I got uncomfortable, when I got nervous I just talk more or be quiet (depends on the situation)

Vandy5000 my guess, you have a single speaker phone/device. Left and right channels of the same waveform in an artificial stereo spread being compiled and played back over a mono speaker cancels it out. Resulting in not being able to hear it. Happens on my Moto G 5 with a single speaker.

omg I laughed at my granny's Funeral! bare in mind I was like 10 and it was a Catholic funeral (which Id never been to before) and when they finished communion the priest drank the wine and I said flip he's thirsty and burst out laughing! I had to hide myself by pretending I was hysterically crying while hugging my mum... that shit was awkward!!
