Hey guys! So I work at a rescue, and I had a young couple adopt a puppy today. They named him Link! When I asked them where they got the inspiration, they asked if I watched GMM :) We all totally nerded out it was awesome! I consider myself kind of privileged and I felt poor when Link was discussing his toilet. I thought those high tech toilets were a Japanese thing. That’s probably why his renovation is taking months to complete. Everything had to be custom made in Japan.

I don't like those auto-flush Japanese toilets (^_^;) because most of them don't have lids, so the stuff flies out (I'm a germaphobe) but the think that I hate the most about them, is because they don't give enough time before flushing. I'm still using the toilet and they flush prematurely, and it's not like a take a long time to use it. It just flushes in less than a minute, and I'm still not finished using it (^_^;)

I realise this was probably a joke but this happens all the time. A building with only one or two disabled spots will use all of them for storage or company vehicles etc, leaving nowhere for disabled people to park

That thing about Rhett saying that in some states you can get married at 14. That's not only true, but MANY states have a minimum marriage age of 12. In fact thousands of children in the US are married to much older people every year. Since these have to be with parental permission, you'll often see men above the age of 30 or 40 marrying preteen to early teen girls. The men are usually pretty well off financially and the girl's family was worse off. Many people (myself included) believe that most of these marriages are the man buying the girl from the parents, since the majority of the time it's the parents who push the marriage and try to get it court approved ASAP.

I had no idea this was still happening in the US. I just googled it and found so many articles confirming the stats. Over 200,000 minors got married from 2000 to 2015. I’m completely flabbergasted. When Rhett said it, it reminded me of when I used to wash my hands as a child, before playing the piano, so as not to get dirt or grease on the keys. I haven't got a piano at home anymore, so now, when I play the piano in the music shop, I try to look for the one with the least grease on the keys (from other people playing it), and wash my hands afterwards (^_^;) LOL

Rhett is 100% right about the bidet. The dryer takes forever and does blow smell up toward you. But they are great, once you have one you will wonder what you’ve been doing this whole time with TP.
