Excellent project - well executed. This 'problem' is a common request from our architecture students (Dundee University) - kinetic facades and the likes. Some very neat sub-routines in there, I picked up a few new 'tricks'. Thank you so much.

Thanks so much for your comment and yep you can rotate it from start and decide what plane you what to work with ... this algorithm built for doors folded 🙃

Hmmm I think that is well but if you want you can do that by not programmatic way by rotating final output product

Thanks for this tutorial! It's big help for a school project. I was wondering what the steps would be to add a thickness to the surfaces? For example if I'd want this to be 2x4 wood studs forming the triangle (keeping the split surface for the empty center).

Thanks so much for your comment it seems great ... and first of all you can do a thickness by using offset surface from pufferfish component or other wise by extrude it with normal vector direction ( perpendicular on surface) 🙃and for any problem you can join us via discord server here: discord.gg/UrxwQSknDN

Hi, trank you for the Tutorial. I was able to follow the steps very well. I have also a question. Is there a way to multiply the construction upwards ? I tried it but Don‘t find a way without losing the other options to change the parameters of the construction. Best regards from germany 😊

Hi, thank you so much for video! I have question, is there a way you can show the step to add the frame around the surface/facet? If you can help on that. Others than that, I’m grateful for your sharing

Thanks so much for your comment 😉 and you’re welcome.. yep for sure I’ll help you definitely you can create frames by scaling triangle surfaces with central points then trimming between these bigger and smaller parts finally separate the frame part via list item component ..that’s it 🤓

I am not able to get offset curve result (15:16) as yours, rather my offset moves at 90 along the plane, I have tried adding different planes, but they do not simulate when changing angle. Any solutions? Thanks

When I connected End Points at 2:38, there is always two lines with mirrored, not like in the video. How can I solve that?

Thanks for your comment! And you should to connect a right End point from Rotated line then choose a z plane originated from end point 🧐

The definition is nice, but this is pseudo folding I’d say. The creased surfaces shouldn’t change their surface areas while folding.
