Here's a video showing the RhinoRack Sunseeker 2.0 setup. It's easily done by one person in just a couple/few minutes. I was able to modify and adapt things to mount it to my factory roof rails saving hundred$ over purchasing their siderail adapters and crossbars. *thumbs-up for mods!!

Do you think it would mount on the standard factory Lexus GX 460 rails and cross bars? Or would i need some sort of special install kit. I see you have a basket on top, is it on the factory rails that you mounted the modified cam?

I'm that I'm not familiar with the 460 rails or crossbars. I assume they're similarly constructed, if so the unistrut nut may fit similarly. I recently saw a post for the Yakima Mighty Mounts ($60 from REI, and available elsewhere) which works well for other awnings too, it may function well for the 460's crossbars. My basket is a universal mount which just clamps to the factory crossbars and assume would be similar with the 460's factory crossbars. Thanks for watching and commenting!! how did you bend the bracket?

I put the bracket in a vise and pounded it with a BFH. I measured where the bend would go so the awning would be flush with the outside of the stock side rail, but basically clamped it and pounded it. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🤙🏼
