Visiting Rhodes? One of the great islands of the Mediterranean, Rhodes - the wonderful Greek Island, and the town of Rhodes itself, has plenty to offer the large numbers of tourists that flock to the surrounds here throughout the year.
Ancient sites, of which here are many on the island of Rhodes, are among the most popular sights and tourist attractions on the island. The ancient citadel or acropolis of Lindos is the most breathtaking of these with some amazing sights that take you back millennia.
Kamiros and its extensive ruins, and the city of ancient Rhodes itself (what remains of it) are other Rhodes tourist attractions and historical sites you must make the effort to visit. These are majestic places and provide some great photo opportunities on Rhodes
Fort St Nicholas and Kritinia castle , along with the Master of the Knights Palace all have their own unique history too - they are rated as some of the best places to visit on Rhodes. The magnificent defensive walls, which are well preserved to this day, and high towers make some amazing views and experiences.
If you're more inclined to take in the sun rather than the history around the island then a stroll around Mandraki Port might be more to your liking, along with taking a short drive to the beautiful Valley of the Butterflies, a major tourist attraction on the island of Rhodes and a great way to spend some time out in nature.

Happy New Year 🎉🇳🇿 We have heard that Rhodes was built as Ancient Greek city-state and flourished through trade. Rhodes,still retaining the remnants of a medieval city as seen in video footage content, we think is a place worth seeing with much to offer!☝️✨😊 Please continue to do best this year as well! Rhodes is an island in the south of the Aegean Sea, where it’s said that the Colossus of Helios, a giant statue of the sun god, once stood in its harbor and was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We have heard that remnants of the city walls built by the Knights of Saint John during the medieval period are still visible today.☝️✨ Yosh and Iku
