Rhodesia - and Mugabe - The future postponed 1

Rhodesia, the jewel in Africa, had it all to become an example in the World.
No, it didn't happened, as the UN, the US and Britain, paired with revolution bandits and allowed their terrorist idiots to take power in the country.
The result is that the future has been postponed now for 40 years.
They didn't built during these 40 years one single new bridge, new city, or a new farm, not one. Only they know is talk, assault, rob, take advantage of international help for personal benefit,etc etc.
They occupied white people farms and companies, and continued to say for 40 years that they were working very hard for the future of the new country Zimbawe.
They, like the Government Frelimo in Mozambique, were and are the specialists in corruption, robbing other people assets, and robbing also their national banks. Mugabe was and will be in history the "sole one" responsible for the disaster that Rhodesia came to be in the 21st century.
On November 21, after 37 years in power, Zimbabwe’s dictator, Robert Mugabe, resigned in infamy.
By contrast, the late South African leader, Nelson Mandela, was revered in the West. His successor, Thabo Mbeki, was well-respected.
Yet over the decades, both Mandela and Mbeki lent their unqualified support to Mugabe.
When the baton was passed from Mbeki to the populist polygamist Jacob Zuma, the current leader of South Africa’s dominant-party state, little changed in the country’s relationship with Zimbabwe.
Why?
And what is the significance of the support Zuma and his predecessors, Mandela and Mbeki, have lent the Zimbabwean dictator over the decades?
Jews in ANC ... want blacks in the Dark!

It is amazing to think that had things like the brexit vote and the trump election occurred in 1978/79, Rhodesia might still be a nation today.

Are you high? Had London and the rest of the western world recognized Rhodesias legitimate right to independence in the first place (Legitimate due to her exemplary performance in the fields of economy, progressive democracy, and performance/commitment to the defeat of tyrannical world orders such as the Kaisers and Adolf Hitlers), an independance already GUARANTEED by the British govt in pre WWII, the "bush war" would never have happened. And even under the yolk of severe sanctions meted out against her following UDI, she continued to thrive. The negotiations were not a thing of compassion or kindness on the part of whitehall, they were simply an option that the British hoped would "make the Rhodesian problem" go away. And I'm a bloody Loyalist! When I look at how they treated my colonial cousins (Whom my grandfathers fought and bled with!) I sometimes wonder why!
@FatsoZ
@FatsoZ 7 жыл бұрын
Your argument was never going to hold water. Colonialism was falling left right and centre between 1940s and 1990 across Africa. No minority, I this case white rule, was going to survive, even in South Africa where the apartheid regime was strongest. No amount of support from any political block was going to stop the winds of change across Africa. Of course it's very sad that most African governments have turned rogue and destroyed thriving economies and are in fact the mirror images of the barbarism portrayed by the colonialists. The end does not justify the means, just because the economies were vibrant does not point out to a democracy; or should i teach you what is democracy. How can a mere minority rule the majority without an election? That is colonialism and not democracy. And no, am not yet high. Maybe after work i may drink! Lol

fukk off the portugeuse were shit at fighting wars in Africa they relied on the Rhodesians, Rhodesians had to help out the portugeuse numerous times Rhodesia always had fine soldiers serving in first and second world wars and in Malaya Rhodesia per capita provided the most troops to the first and second world war in the deserts of Africa where 1 in 10 Rhodesians died in the end it was a numbers game and pressure from a hostile outside world sanctions and man for man Rhosesian forces won just about every battle, portugeuse ran from Mozambique long before Rhodesia got its independence. I was there so I know in the end the west sold Rhodesia out sanctions by the west were serious and had serious implications, it was the west who put Mugabe in power. man for man Rhodesia won every battle and statistics verify this excess of 40 000 terrorists were eliminated

+Dude Dude. Rhodesia had excellent armed forces (my father served in the Rhodesian Air Force in the 1960s and 1970s) but we also received significant military support from South Africa - the region's economic and military superpower - and that support was actually still there as the war was drawing to a close. Indeed, on 6 September 1979 a SAAF Puma helicopter was shot down during a joint operation. www.amazon.co.uk/SEARCH-PUMA-Neill-Jackson-Malsen/dp/1920143572/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1482306581&sr=1-1&keywords=puma+164 Moreover, as you are aware, in the 1960s and 1970s Portugal was also an ally but many white Rhodesians had a dismissive view of the Portuguese (we referred to them as "Porks"). Some of the Portuguese who fought in Mozambique were conscripts sent out from Portugal and presumably had little enthusiasm for the war. On the other hand, other Portuguese fought bravely, a point noted by the South African author Al Venter, a journalist who went on operations with the Portuguese during hostilities. www.amazon.co.uk/Portugals-Guerilla-Wars-Africa-Mozambique/dp/191029473X/ref=la_B001HPJOPO_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1482307069&sr=1-4 It is also worth noting that the first Europeans to enter what became Rhodesia were Portuguese. They began to explore the country in the early 16th century, over three hundred years before the British and Boers arrived on the scene.

The British Forces always stood by their Rhodie counter-parts, and the SAS and Para's told Harold Wilson to get stuffed! when he considered military action against kith and kin. South Africa would also not have stood by and let its cousins be subject to British occupation (not that the British Army would have wanted to in the first instance...but it must serve the government...to a point). The British and American politicians were the problem...anything for the vote!

Anglosax well said. Africans been very poorly served by a mix of tribalism and communism. The majority rule supposedly desired has degenerated into corrupt tribal oligarchs murdering their enemies black or white. The inability of these oligarchs to govern has ironically resulted in an economic dependence on Chinese capital and management. In the old days this would have been referred to as colonialism.

Dave Doyle Why would people want to be ruled by racial foreigners? Would you expect Englishmen to be ruled by Chinese just because the Chinese make cheap goods? Ofcourse not. People will always prefer their tribe even if the tribe has more wealth. European nations were also poor at one time. But that was no excuse for some Europeans to advocate for rule under foreigners. They would have been considered traitors by their fellow Englishmen, Germans, or Poles. The problem with African nations is they rule themselves using European social models such as Parliamentarianism and political parties. Also the leadership make themselves dependent on British or French largeese during the Cold War thinking they were outsmarting Paris and London against Moscow. They never took sacrificial pains to develop their own countries after independence by sheer iron disciplined force. The only African nation state that develops itself continuously through self reliance is Eritrea.

I have 2 simple questions to all this, what made these people come to our land? What was your end outcome too. Genuinely want to understand this because if situations were in reverse we would be called immigrants. And I don't entertain angry trolls about my mother land, just want a clear picture of their mission.

What do you mean by "Motherland". It is not motherland but how much value you have added to life--including making a modern state of it. Ownership is all about this and not being merely located there.

Now after how many years of owning the state, how much value have you added to it? Only use of same for socialists purposes, using the state to pursue your individual lives and as such subjecting yourself to tyrants among your brothers.

Perhaps if Smith had accepted the inevitable, the 'winds of change' earlier and sought to share power then the tyrant Mugabe would not have garnered such support.

To comment on politicians, you have to go galatic with the Zodiac, otherwise you will never get it right. Faces tell us everything. Mugabe is a troublemaker, not just bc he is a Lybra, but bc of the phisiognomy chart, he is uncapable of doing better... as many other Lybras like him. You must check who else is a Libra in politics.
