That short message you just gave was probably more powerful than you think! And the key word in your message is NOW. In Isaiah 43:19-18, the Lord said, through the prophet Isaiah, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past, see, I am doing a new thing! NOW it springs up; do you not perceive it?" In other words, God is saying, If you are stuck in the past, you are going to miss what I am doing in your life NOW. And the same applies to those of us who worry about the future. If we are worried about what we are going to wear or what are we going to eat, or how we are going to get by the rest of the month, we are going to miss what God is doing in our lives NOW. And it's not always some big, dramatic thing God does. Sometimes He just want you to be in the NOW, so you won't miss a moment of your child's basketball game, or soccer game, or the laughter and fun on movie night with family and friends. In Jesus's sermon on the Mount, He told the people to not worry about tomorrow, let tomorrow worry about itself because you have enough going on today, to worry about what's going to happen tomorrow. He then tells them, don't worry about what you are going to eat or what you are going to wear, if My Heavenly Father feed the birds of the air and dresses the lilies of the field, how much more will provide for us who He made in His image. God considers worrying a sin because it means we don't trust Him enough to put our future into His hands. God wants us to trust Him with our lives, so that we can enjoy Him NOW. So, if we are worrying while we are walking down the street, and all we notice is that crack in the sidewalk and an old tin can by the side of the road, we are going to miss that sunset, or that shooting star God wanted to show us NOW! Your message is a very powerful message-a God given message that needed to be heard... NOW! Thank you.
