ABOUT RHONY:
This season on The Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny is healthy and happy, and the little pieces of her life are coming back together now that she is finally divorced-but a feud with Ramona threatens her peace. I got my 1st cat 4 years ago when i was 45. I adopted an older cat who was 9 at the time. I was not a cay person but fell in love with him I get it Carole. Those are some lucky kitties!

I feel like no matter what she ever did now....people would trash her. They trash her for putting the litter in her closet. If she had put it in the living room....or her bathroom...they would trash her and say she should have put it in her closet. She is in a no win situation at the moment. I love that she made an amazing space for her fur babies!!! I love that she put their needs first. Cloths can be replaced anytime....the love of happy animals can't . So....YEH CAROLE!!!!!!!! IT IS AMAZING WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!!!!!!! I'M SO IMPRESSED WITH THE AMAZING SPACE!!!! LUCKY THE CATS THAT YOU ADOPT!!!!! To each there own but this couldn't work for me cuz of all the hair on my clothes, the smell of cat poop in a confined area/odor on my clothes and possible spraying on my clothes. Also the possibility of them tearing my clothes but space is tight in NY

I have 2 cats too, but I don’t allow them close to my closet. That’s not because of smell but the fur will spread all the clothing...😂 they have their toilet in terrace

Cats smell? The only thing that smells about mine is its cat litter. I recently rescued a dog, and I cant adjust to the "dog smell" in my house.

People forget, cats BURY their poop! Also, if you get the clumping action litter and clean up right after them, there IS NO SMELL! I use the Arm and Hammer Clumping Litter - SLIDES. It is a cat lover's dream come true. It doesn't smell AND it scoops up like a hot knife cutting through butter. Using the right litter is IMPORTANT. You use cheap litter that doesn't clump, then ANYWHERE would stink. Also, the clue is to consistently scoop any poo and urine immediately. Even to sprinkle some baking soda into the litter will help.

I guess in a home as small as that, your kitty litter places are limited, so putting it in the closet is probably the only place it can be out of sight. Her clothes will smell though. Cat owners say litter doesn't smell if you clean it regularly, but that's denial or else they just got used to the smell and nobody else is telling them as they don't want to be rude to them.

As a fellow cat (and dog) mama, I totally approve. I use a shower stall for my litter box. Ps.... Costco has the best price for clumping litter but it comes in 44 lb boxes!

Crazy Cat lady. Tbh the smell of cats when they spray and mark their territory is vomit. A stray cat who is so adorable and is the high light of day has started coming everyday three times a day to my house. I feed him, love him let him in to sleep. I love him so much and I hated cats before. Today I deep cleaned everything and still get his smell. I hate it. But I miss him when he is not here and I thought I would never say that about a cat. He knows when I feel down which is a lot lately and he brings me joy. It's a shame and sad that tomorrow I am leaving where I am living. He is the only thing that made it bearable but that's my life. Maybe that's why we connected so much. I am a stray rambling free spirit like him. Gonna miss that cat. I love him. He makes me feel so good & happy

Gross. I love cats but this is a bad idea for so many reasons. The litter smell for one. The hair on your items two. Thirdly cats scratch. I had my cat take a tumble in my closet and ruin two brand new leather coats in one shot. My cats are not supposed to be in my closet. To give them free rein is dumb.
