This is my mums favourite song and version, I wasn't convinced until I saw Rhydian in concert with her. He was absolutely amazing. Before you critisize, go and see him first.

My dad died recently and i had number 2 as the service begun and number 10 as the service ended. tremendous response from the 500 who attended. Cheers Rhydian you did my dad proud x

When my brother was going through cancer 7 yrs ago his wife got him a cd of rhydian in shop and I never took words in the songs until after my brother passed his wife back with him now and I love the songs

The Riddler can sing he's got a Great voice, he didn't win because he was different . Too Good for the show, and the judges wanted a nobody they could mould. All the Best luck in your future Rhydian. JLS never won and there was no way one direction are better than JLS!!. There was only one way for one direction, OUT.

I've been a Meatloaf fan all my life and when he first released this song I swore NOBODY would ever do a cover that came close.... until I heard Rhydian's cover. The reason I like Rhydian's is that he hasn't changed the way the song should be sung, and he's not tried to "make it his own", he's just sang a bloody good song very well - and after all, Jim Steinman contacted Rhydian after seeing him do "I'd do anything" on the X Factor so they must've liked what they heard! BUT... Meat IS a legend!

Meat Loafs wil always be my favourite version but Rydian will go on to be a huge success in music i hope cause his voice is strong and if he keeps working with Steinman he will get his full potential out of Rydian :)

I agree with the saying that covers should not be compared to the original but to other covers instead. I like Meatloaf but I much prefer this version. I love Rhydian's rich baritone voice and the long note he held from 3:31 to 3:43, that was very original in my opinion. @dennisthenobodies - I have heard he's one of the nicest guys out there. I believe XFactor made a villain out of him trying to make the show more interesting. But in real life, he's very nice.

Rhydian Is the best singer that's ever been on X Factor. He was the true winner not Leon Jackson. Matt Cardle is a good singer and so are the 2 girls

yeah at the start of the song it souded almost the same as the original, I have to say I am becoming more of a fan with the more I hear. Shame he didn't get to sing this on the X factor, would have done better than some of the songs that were chosen for him

Great, but... A clear voice like this lacks emotion. Meat loaf's voice had that amazing mixture of operatic and raspy that gives emotion to his performance

I went to the 100 best singers of all time list.....he was at #2.....Id never heard of him....so I went and looked. The guy has a voice, but how can his name even be mentioned in the same chapter, never mind the same sentence as someone like Freddie Mercury? What a joke !!
