I gotta say I think this is missing some aspect of the Moroccan Chaabi beat....but I am gonna use it to help build a foundation and hopefully impress a Moroccan gal who wants to hear me drum....!

This is what I was afraid of...it's missing some actually essential rhythmic components that are keys 🔑 to unlocking the trance state and the psychological/emotional/spiritual charisma that has made the beat famous for centuries, as a sort of gathering place of connection for divine fellowship... Ayoub Chatar, can you explain what accent or pause is missing?

@@Petroglyph1 seems to be the swing is missing. Chaabi doesn’t have all the notes perfectly subdivided, it swings and grooves a lot
