Having drums and lyrics is not a problem from a sampling perspective. Most of the time you are pulling from an opening, a closing or from a drum break in the middle of the song.

they need to start picking stuff from $1 bins and stop being able to go straight to a certain section, THEN putting on the blindfold. Put the blindfold on, then go pick random records from different sections. Dudes are scared of picking up stuff they can't fuck with it, so they go straight to a section where they pick up classic records to make beats from. That's whack

With Erick saying that both the records and the cables being messed up, he basically told y'all that it didn't sound as good as he wanted it to. He's a good producer that was met with a few technical difficulties and worked well (in my opinion) with what he was given.

They don't clash at all. There are some blue notes in there (aka not diatonic) but its not like theres a major 3rd playing over a minor chord or anything like that. Also some digital distortion from his cables being screwed up
