Ribs are my favorite way to break in a new cooker, and that’s exactly what I did, rubbing up 3 racks of St. Louis Cut Spareribs and smoking them with hickory wood on my new 20x42 Lone Star Grillz Offset Smoker. Some amazing BBQ sauce made by my neighbor was the perfect finish for these pork ribs.

Good video. Did you use any water in the pit? I had to laugh when you said that next time you would leave the ribs on for a little longer. That was exactly my feeling when I cooked the first batch of ribs on the LGS Adjustable. The bite was right, but they I would have liked them to be just a little more tender. Will Carol give you her recipe for her Jack Daniels BBQ sauce so you can publish it?
@CookingWithRy

You're always going to get better wood flavor with a stick burner, but the pellet has convenience going for it. For me it's also about the capacity and the experience of cooking with burning wood. Nothing quite like that.
