Can you make Onde-onde? It like Bilo-bilo which made with glutinous rice flour but with a twist...we put a small chunk of palm sugar in it and once it cooked, rolled it on shredded coconut and enjoy

I know it’s not really in the same ball park as the stuff you’ve been making but three things; one I would like it if you tried eating a completo which is a awesome hot dog sandwich thing from Chile and also a queque remojado! Its like a tres leches cake but a lot more milky; my grandma made it a few times and it’s really yummy! If not, queque de mil ojas is fun too (a million leaves cake). It’s pretty simple, it’s sweet soft cracker like layers with caramel (manjar) in between the ‘leaves’ and you can decorate with your favorite sprinkles and cake decorations if you like but there’s no frosting, only caramel that you make by boiling a sweet and condensed milk can. As a bonus you can eat the leftover manjar for breakfast on your favorite toast with tea or whatever else you want. This comment is a lot longer than I originally intended lmao I love your videos!!! All your food looks amazballs 🤤 ❤ Thanks for sharing 💕💕💕💕💕

Not a Filipino but bilo bilo is really similar to yuanxiao. It’s just accompanied with other toppings. You can also try them with sesame or peanut sweet paste, red bean and my personal favorite: rice wine. I hope you can try it out!

Honestly, the dish reminds me of Chinese rice balls called Tangyuan (湯圓). Put the Tangyuan with some Mijiu (米酒) to make Humijiu Tangyuan (糊米酒湯圓), a Chinese dessert. You can eat the dish warm or chilled. If you want, you can stuff sesame paste or red bean paste inside the Tangyuan balls. By the way, I thought that "Rice Recipe" would entail a bowl of rice and some kind of vegetable-and-meat dish.

Hello, Cebuano here. Just wanna day this recipe feels similar to a dish we make here in Cebu too. Where we put Sago, Kamote, Banana, Coconut Milk and Glutinous rice as well. I forgot the name and I think I missed some ingredient but I do remember that we always cook and eat it on a certain day and everyone of our neighbors also makes it too and we often share it with them.

In our Bengali cuisine, there is something similar like this called 'choshir payesh'. It is made out of tiny elliptical shaped dumplings made up with rice flour dough and then boiled in milk and sugar. It's a delicacy here. Love your videos ❤.

Saw a rice ball trick today where part of the mixture is boiled less than all the way and then mixed back into the rest of the mix while it’s still hot and still malleable. So apparently it makes it chewier, more consistent, and easier to work with.
