This is what football talk should be, no agendas

Love the point about Arteta looking at the measure of the man first, and that has contributed greatly to the mentality and culture of the club. We had players at the club that just wanted to cash a cheque and weren't willing to do any work beyond what it takes to get paid. However, now we can look at the footballer first because we have a solid set of leaders that would not accept anything less than 100%. We need a level raiser. We need world beaters. And getting the right footballer can get us over the line, and I trust that the culture that Mikel has installed at the club will rub off on any incoming players.

Can't wait for this channel to blow up to 1mil subs

Pep has made everyone believe that a DM must be a perfect passer of the ball and scoring goals like Rodri. A DM should protect the defence and connect the midfield by passing as safe as possible. DM’s primary responsibility is not to create chances or score goals. Although, they score and assist once in a while

Arsenal fans are going to need to grow thicker skin. The criticism launched at our players is going to increase as we improve as a team because we're a genuine threat, being bantered when we're shit is totally different and I think some fans still have a hangover from that period.

This would be the most balance team. Martinelli. Isak. Saka Wirtz. Odegaard Rice Timber. Gabriel siliba. Frimpong Raya

Rice more of an 8 for Arteta systems bc of progressive passing breaking lines. Progressive passing is rice’s least attribute even though he is brilliantl center mid. A partey is a better lone 6 than a rice for arteta bc of the passing. Rice is a better 8 than u all gave him credit for in this video. Also an 8 for arteta bc he wants an 8 that breaks up play high. The team can create more chances if we win ball high.

A nice panel, where the individuals have credible purpose of having discussions based on genuine football knowledge. About Calafiori, I think given his age, ability on the ball and in addition to his defensive ability, he is already better than Zinchenko and Kiwior. I am still not sold on Kiwior. His inability to recognize, he had to make a tactical foul on Mane during the Bayern first leg, turned the tie against us, when we seemed to be cruising. Calafiori is a great opportunity signing. We should try for him.

Timber is right footed. Seeing the issue with England now with trippier and it forcing England inside all the time, we need a left footed left back that can overlap our left winger to provide balance on both wings

Calafiori is a brilliant market opportunity, more towards the finished article than Kiwior. Then you have 5 reliable defenders + Tomi.

Odegaard is the 8 we're looking for. Defensive strengths as well as creative. Buy a WC 10 like wirtz to compliment rice Odegaard. I still think ESR can do a job at RCM, by putting Odegaard as LCM.

Timber is right sided dunno why Arsenal fans keep saying we have him for left. We've seen with England the limitations a right footed left back can bring. And at Arsenal we have 2 right footed left wingers too, so its even more so. Weve gotta get that left side functioning more next season, and a better balance Kiwior is ok but can be improved upon, Zinchenko has to go Tomiyasu and Timber on left are ok backup options but as the starter we need a natural left footer Sheroy how can you be confident on Timber to left when hes played only 2 or 3 games there since joining? Its not enough evidence. All of his football for Ajax was right centre back or right back We need a left back option as a priority, along with a midfielder and forward player, all 3 are musts Also on Califiori to me he looks more of an Arteta player than Gabriel, much more comfortable on ball, so if he came i also wouldn't rule him out of taking that role. But he could do similar to what Ake and Gvardiol do for Man City as a left back in my opinion

This Saka left back situation is only relevant on social media banter between rival fans but in reality its a 💯 win for saka as a complete player who can play in multiple positions. Chelsea fans should be ashamed of themselves for using this unreasonable thing as a banter

In the second half of last season, when we were at out best, he was in the left 8 position- so keep him there!

I agree with her I believe we defo need a Left footed Lb/Lcb someone to confirm that position and give an alternative to a Zinny profile while also giving great coverage if a Gabriel injury happened, imagine a Calafiori - Saliba cb duo or maybe I’m just greedy and want Aura FC 😭

The problem with Rice is that because the main agenda around him was that he is potentially better than Rodri, we have viewed him through that lens. Which is why it's difficult to see the positives now, especially when you watch Rodri literally in the following game. Mental.

I went into this convinced that Rice is an 8, but you lot changed my mind. So nice to see a panel of people who know ball and aren't just waffling for clippable hot takes 🙏

Rice is not a 6. 6 doesn’t just win balls and 8 doesn’t just shoot Sheroy , they have to transition well and I’m sorry but Rice doesn’t have the verticality or the vision to cut through. 9:47

Because Rice can tackle people think he's a Gilberto Silva when he's a Patrick Vieira. We have been spoiled with technical 8's like Fabregas and Cazorla so when a classical 8 like Rice appears we don't know what to do with him.
