The thing with pre-season is that you get to try out some tactics and some different player combination while you want to win games as well,that's why for me personally the Manchester united loss didn't worry me.

If I'm Arteta I'm telling Marwuinhos he has the ability to take Saka's RW position. I'm telling you now Marquinhos is Gnabriesque with his potential. Strong and stocky. He hasvdribbling ability, pace and a rocket in his foot for a shot. He is just timid and doesn't yet know his strengths and how to use his body.

Arsenal fans - start to programme yourself into expecting us to consolidate ourselves in the TOP 4 this season. Let's not take anything for granted and create a toxic atmosphere with expectations of a title race. It will be the first year for this team in the champions league and dealing with the added pressure. I would love to compete for the title and still hope we can but remember the other teams behind us are all strengthening like crazy too. Minimum aim is Champions League with the investment. Just don't get too downhearted if we don't compete for the title.as well as we did last year.

There's a lot of players there to choose only 11 from! Even though we all want to see them all play, Balogun, Tierney etc, Arteta has to be ruthless and choose the best 11 and it can't change every week, consistency is so important. Our squad is looking super competitive!

Against Man United there was a lack of directness, uncoordinated pressing, inability to take on the Man United players 1-vs-1, and too many touches on the ball from the Arsenal players, which made it hard for them to do anything significant. Arteta needs to play more direct football next season. With what am seeing from some of our rivals, its going to be very tough for us if we don't switch to playing more direct football sometimes where no more than 5 passes from the back can get our attackers in the opposition's box to try and score. This too many touches and indecisiveness from our players will cost us next season to go for the title again. Man United have read our script and know how to play us using physicality as well. They know we lack the ability to do 1-vs-1 take-ons and we take too many touches and hold on to the ball longer than necessary. All Man United players had to do was press us, win the ball and counter attack to score which they succeeded in doing against us. They exposed our weakness.

Havertz shouldn't have got blamed for Man United's goals, because it was Ramsdale's/ Magalhaes' mistakes and Man United bypassed our entire midfield using direct passes. Havertz also didn't play in deep-midfield area and was obviously tasked to do high-press in the final-third

Midfield 3 of partey, timber and rice against city, united and Liverpool away games won't be bad, with rice playing the 8, partey as box to box while timber as 6. There are many good combinations I wouldn't be surprised of later in the season which could happen due to specific games or injuries but harvetz as any of the midfield combo is make us weaker

Arteta please always keep it simple and play everyone in their normal positions when we have a more competitive team. Forget about too many possession of the ball and focus on hurting the opponent when they make a mistake. Example was when Man City visited Arsenal at the Emirates this past season. We need to see more of Veirah. He is really talented but to date he hasn't reached those heights that made Arsenal spot him. He needs to rise to the occasion. His body language is not right,he looks sad and uncommitted. He carries himself around like Ozil did back then. Let him push himself harder for the team.He has everything he needs to perform at the highest level.
