I can get to wave 7 as a non-inferno doer with ahrims and bandos gear and none of the top 3 weapons. Which means I can get all the rewards except for the quiver. This content is designed for mid game TO end game. Because mid game can get some rewards too

It’s purely skill. This content is absolutely EASILY completed in full barrows gear lol. It is all down to prayer flicking and movement and stack knowledge. If you can only get to wave 7 it’s not your gear. It’s your skill.

Yeah ..this game old I just started recently you can still try coliseum I cleared 2waves at 80combat melle only with whip you get some rewards

You can walk when 3 fremniks spawn walk and hit don't take damage kill melee mage ranged in that order and there are safespots first waves easy later it's hard

Sucks ass that I sold scythe pre buff because it kept going down and now it's needed for this content.. RIP 800-900M gp i'll have to make when I play this game again. EDIT: I guess not needed, but definitely speeds up the last boss when it's weak to slash.

maybe, but it wouldn't be worth since you need to wear quiver to temporarily gain that second slot. so you mind as well just wear a cape that gives prayer

Congrats! The respawn point sucks. Its infront of the palace. think i counted it as ~30-32 ticks away from a bank (you can 1 click to atleast). So its one of the worst respawns in the game.

Truth is that this content is not for everyone, its basically a infernal cape for range, it took years until everyone started getting infernals capes, same will happen here probably

While the wave mechanics are similar to inferno, colosseum is much easier to learn. Due to the length, supply management is much easier. Also, scythe with blood fury is viable for learners since the rangers and magers dont melee you like in the inferno. Also, this is much easier to grind since the time per completion is so much shorter, making it more enjoyable and less tilting if you die. Lastly there are no mechanics in the final boss fight that 1 shot you like a zuk attack

I’m looking at the poll questions and it’s pretty darn similar to what the questions asked. “If Varlamore is added to the game, should it include the Fortis Colosseum? This would be a wave-based minigame, with a focus on decision-making, risk vs. reward and high replayability.” From Summer Summit Giga Poll 2023.

Sad thing about this update is the colosseum is only for the 1%, which is aimed at streamers to bring more players in, I would try and learn it but I know as an adult with life and work, it's not possible

People like you don’t really make sense to me? I work a full time career have a wife and kids actually have other hobbies and still play the game. I have infernal cape plan on getting quiver lol just try the content and don’t cry about it. JUST TRY SOMETHING FOR ONCE.

Just because most people can’t do all 12 waves doesn’t mean it’s “only for the 1%.”In fact, the ability to just leave with some loot after every wave makes it WAY more accessible than something like raids or the inferno. Also, perilous moons was added in the exact same update. “The 99%”aren’t exactly starved of content.

Osrs combat is well harder than rs3, you dont need ene game gear for anything on rs3

You do need end game for certain bosses if you are saying necromancy go brr I think that's misleading since that's mostly high end pvmer. You definitely can't go dragonhide in arch at higher enrages. One of the few things I like about osrs is there is some push back for liberal politics otherwise I think rs3 pvm is more entertaining

cool. i still cant play this crap game because of all of the hackers. jagex breeched security and leaked all of our info when they swapped to jagex accounts (lying) saying it was safer. now i will never play this game again, why would i, what is the point.
