The size of the fight in Patrick Mahomes can’t be quantified. He’s a unicorn 🦄 a once in a lifetime talent. 50 percent of him is better than most other QBs, because he so talented and gifted physically and mentally. I’d say he’s closer to a 2.0 of Elway if I compared him to another QB because of the baseball background that they have in common. Joe Montana even gushes over him. Appreciate him while he’s playing 🏈.

My comp is this.. remember when Prime Aaron Rodgers came along making every throw, having big clutch plays, BUT he did it efficiently (minus the Favre mistakes essentially). The fans who are tired of the gushing over Mahomes are just butthurt and salty because they are tired of having to watch Mahomes beat their team. Mahomes isn't the only great young QB in the league right now, he played against one last week, and is playing arguably the best QB in the league not named Mahomes next week. Guys like Burrow, Lawrence, Allen, and Herbert are all incredible, but Mahomes is in a class all by himself. The stats back that claim up, and so does the eyeball test. Not only does Mahomes make insane and impossible plays look routine, his stats overall are just insane. We have never seen anyone else like him, and probably never will.

You can play with an ankle sprain sustained in a game and still play. It hasn't swollen yet and the adrenaline and tape allow you to play. Not taking away what Mahomes did, it was incredible. But a week later it's a million times harder. He'll play but his running around will be diminished significantly. Him and Burrow are the top 2 QBs in the NFL.

I love Joe Burrow, and I think he might be the second or third best quarterback in the NFL. And yes, he’s beat. The Chiefs’ defense three times in a row. @milleribsenalbeefan Жыл бұрын
@White Whale that pick 6 was so avoidable. For one thing they ran hurry up for that play. Right before the play the intended receiver went to the sideline to get out because he was gassed... sent back in regardless. Receiver ended up running a very poor route, herbert threw it, and it got picked off. I'm still salty over that play.. like calm down huddle up.. or take a timeout whatever .. and score in the goddamn redzone.

@@milleribsenalbeefan Yes, like a lot of what's been happening to the Chargers, coaching decisions have been hampering Herbert's path. If Spanos wasn't cheap, he'd get Sean Payton, who'd jump at the chance to coach Herbert. Rivers was nowhere close to Herbert, but he should've had way more playoff success. Business as usual, what a waste of generational talent.

If the Bengals prepare for playing Mahomes even if he doesn't play they will be just as prepared for Henne. Reid has said " They run the same plays" with either QB. You just have to be prepared for next level play with Mahomes as Henne is (obiously) nowhere near the QB that Mahomes is.

There is one defense that dominated him and that was Tampa Bay. Like my first memory of that game is Mahomes running for his life. But I believe they had two starting lineman out. One was already injured and the other got injured in the AFC championship. But really there's no way to stop him, you gotta just limit the big plays. But then he'll kill you underneath and running. He truly is a conundrum.
