During chasing his dreams, he held "regular" jobs such as being employed at Six Flags, until he realized he wasn't "a 9-5 type" after being disappointed with the payout.
Rich Homie Quan also speaks candidly about fatherhood with DJ Vlad and details finding out his eldest son was his when the boy was five years old, despite still being cool with the child's mother and frequently hanging out with her.

I just watched the interview he did with the therapist on the channel “Noisey” and Quan was sober, articulate, vulnerable, intelligent and in-depth. This interview is a year later. He is high here - very high. You can see his eyes roll back as soon as he stops talking. This is sad. The interview I just watched was a whole different version of himself.
