This interview was so refreshing to watch. It was nice to hear someone say that all the social media posting is meaningless. The important part is to go out there and serve people. I have held myself back for years because I didn't have time to do all the social posting, it felt empty and forced and frustrating to me. I am so glad I watched this interview, it has changed my perspective so much.

I feel the same about SM posting, like I’m wasting my time. It’s been fed to us that it’s the only way to reach your audience or grow your business but that’s a farce. Now that energy can be directed into the work and the people. 🙌🏾💚

@@ajitnawalkha6019 I am doing a challenge called supercharge your website and one of the tasks we have to do is to sign up for a newsletter from a website of someone that we admire and observe the whole process. I stumbled across Rich Litvin some 3 or 4 years ago and then I went to a masterclass that he gave in London in 2017. Today I looked him up again and instead of going about my task I listened to this wonderful interview. You asked for or rather Evercoach asked to share any insights that we have and today its actually what you said about chasing a particular thing without considering the cost of whatever that thing may be that really struck me and had me in tears. The part when you talked about you trying to prove that the kid from Jaipur could do well in life without having a degree. At that point I just started to cry, no actually I started to sob because it must have touched something in me. Something that I'm chasing, something that I am trying to prove to myself. I do not have a degree, I grew up in a family-owned business so the most natural thing for me to do was to join my dad's business but I was unhappy and I left. I did several things after that but ultimately the I realized that the thing that really lights me up is having one to one conversations. So I decided to start a business as a coach. However, about a year ago I gave it up because I have been trying to build it for the past 5 years without having any serious income. I love what Evercoach is doing especially around the subject of trying to change a trend of coaches trying to create other coaches with their 30 million blueprint formulas which in my opinion is utter bs. That's not shiny, to me it's just insane. I have not fallen for that but I've fallen for all the other hype around Facebook, LinkedIn and building one's business from social media. I will re-listen to this podcast it was packed with insights, go weird, not wide. Polarise people, they will either love you or hate you. Meet fun and interesting people. And so much more. Before I end this rather long note, I would like to add one more thing and even if you don't reply Ajit and If I'm really truthful I wish you would, my hope is that you will read it. In any case, if you do read this note, I would like to add one more thing, there are people out there, that includes me who have something very valuable to offer. They have a zone of genius, they are not high achievers or big performers, they do not have a corporate background and more importantly, they have no degree. I am talking about myself. Yet, they, I have a healthy dose of ambition coupled with a good sense of intuition as well as emotional intelligence which could be put to good use in impacting the world and helping others. There is one snag, the ones who get to spend time with these super coaches have huge bank accounts and can invest big amounts of money in themselves. I am not saying that it's not uncomfortable for them to do that but perhaps its that much easier when you have access to that money. I have hired a coach twice and hand on heart it has changed my life, I am not the person I used to be. I still want to build my business but I want to do it my way without the hype of social media I am sincerely tired of all the pushing and pulling, its soo noisy and tiring. That said I have absolutely no idea how to build it. Some coaches would say that if you are not ready to invest huge amounts of money in yourself then you are not committed, once again I think that is utter bullshit. I am willing and ready to, I just can't pay $1000's for it. Why don't coaches, Evercoach for eg, make allowances for those who are seriously motivated to change the world and have an impact? Why don't they help people who are willing and ready to do the work with scholarships for eg? During the time I took to reflect to see what gives me joy I started a podcast which I thoroughly enjoy, its called Permission to Be You. I feel it is my mission to tell others that its ok to be who they are and to show up as themselves in any given moment. That is how I am serving the world and giving my time. My question is I would love to have a conversation with you Ajit, today you really struck a chord. I really want to build a business, the reason is simple really for the sheer joy of building a business. Thank you for reading this and keep up these great conversations. Diane

The name Rich Litvin has just been coming into my world, and my own coach just sent me his podcast, so this was perfect timing, thank you so much for sharing. Really a lot of what he was saying was confirmation to things I have believed myself to be true. For me it help remind me that once we get solid in the way we want to coach ourselves, no matter what the noise is out there, the world comes up to meet us with interviews like this! I had already started but very clear that it’s time to focus on the business of coaching

It's funny that listening to this interview he said something about finding coaching training online and that's exactly what happened to me I was scammed into a coaching training that cost over $6,000 close to $7,000 after I got in nobody answer the phones they don't answer the emails I see so so disappointed and mad at the same time. But since I was at absolutely light coaching I really see myself doing it the training is really good but I would not recommend anyone to the school at all so now that I'm on this journey I'm listening to everything that you guys are sitting in this interview which can help me grow my coaching business in about 2 to 3 years. Thank you so much for clarity

This really hit me. I totally understand that latch onto stories which drive our desire to be 'successful' but forget to ask ourselves what it is we are truly searching for. People, what great content you give. Every video nourish me, inspire me, "feed" me. I can only watch in awe, and then recognize these transformations can happen in me, if I am willing, and make myself able, to do the work IN ME. It is every time an insight (and a kick in the ass) that my coaching can only thrive if I do a LOT of work on me, first. And with your nourishing and wise experience I understand it will be tough, but it can happen.Thank you!

It is through better connections in our lives that we all live as our best selves. In addition, that we can be perfectly imperfect & attract those who need our help where we are at. Thank you!

Ok, I'll take some advice here: I am doing it for others, specifically my son & children in general. I started my business as a solution to what the world has handed us all. I just want to help people heal & grow. I haven't even had my business open for a year & it is floundering. I have put so much time, effort & money into this & it is hard to just let it go. Although it was not my original dream as a person, it is all that I want for our children to have the skills they need to cope, and to rebuild communities & help people become self-sufficient again. Let me know what you all think. My business: family yoga geared towards children, life coaching, hypnotherapy, sound healing, aromatherapy, reiki and meditation.

Ajit asks the most powerful questions it's almost like he's reading the viewer's mind so thanks for that Ajit! Is anyone else dealing with the fear of not wanting your potential client to think you're a scam when you're trying to get them on a call via Zoom or Skype? And how do you reframe from that?

Help me understand Rich's 2 statements: The first, mentioned about minute 8ish, he says that "you have to give without expecting back". The 2nd then in minute 10 he says "you have to sell and this is what it costs". Seems like a transition that happens from one to the next. 1.Give without expecting, and 2. Now expect. (This is cost) Anyone understand this transition or dichotomy going from 1 to the 2nd, it's unclear to me. Thanks

Connect - Who would I like to talk to Invite - Genuinely Invite someone to have a conversation with you "would you like some help with that?" Create - Serve them so powerfully they will never forget the conversation for the rest of their lives "what have you done about that" - Determine if their ready. Propose - Is that of interest to you? Propose the idea for length of time and price.

How did both of you come to that price range for your business and when do know when to take it up your price?
@mindvalleycoach
@mindvalleycoach Жыл бұрын
Great question! For setting your prices, we recommend watching this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aLd2hruGmuDbp4U.html . And for knowing when to increase your price, you should follow the 10% rule (learn about it here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Ztx3dr16tamuaY0.html). We hope this helps!

I wonder if this approach works in the countries where coaching culture is not yet developed and people are sceptical about it mostly. And how to go round the mentality that any offer (especially to an acquaintance) of professional help is perceived as an act of sale and implies a price even if it's not being decalred at first. Noone wants to owe anyone - and 2h deep coaching session is a big deal from both sides (unless you're rich, you don't have 2h to spend on just anyone daily). And people don't normally buy from friends in my country - it's meant to be a friendly act which doesn't lead to a sale. If it's an acquaintance - then it's a clear service proposal and people want to know the price straight away otherwise it's easier to say no at once, even if they want to do it. Everything in between is a grey area. People estimate whether they can afford your services now or later, it's uncomfortable to spend someone's 2h without a clear understanding what both sides get out of it if money is not involved.
