@TheFaroe I honestly find it understandable, despite the fact. You have to remember, the company that produced the sub could not afford to keep going, and was not able to keep themselves afloat. The third day after the ending, and second after the company declared bankruptcy, they received enough revenue to produce the Anime again twice-over.

roflnoobs92 well technically they are her lyrics since the original song has both Japanese and English lyrics, but a majority of the lyrics are in Japanese, so she would have had to write new lyrics to got fit in where the Japanese lyrics were because if she did just a straight up translation both the timing and meaning of the lyrics would be weird.

But that isn’t to say I don’t like the original Japanese song, I love it in fact, I’m just giving props where props are due.

When the vocals kicked in I was nearly brought to tears. That hasn't happened in such a long time, and I don't even have any connection to Soul Eater besides liking this song already. But my god Lollia killed it on vocals. Didn't ever expect her to collab with you, but this was amazing. Easily the definitive version of the song. Richaad's sound plus great vocals and really nailed the lyrics. People are too afraid to translate it into a version that makes sense rather than just translating it literally. Absolutely exceptional work.

It's been years since I listened to Papermoon but the other day I listened to this and the regular version once or twice. Then, just now, this came up on autoplay, and I had a moment that was damn near a flashback as my mind played the next few notes. "Holy shit" was all I could say. That opening is so distinctive, fuck. Speaking of which, love your work, Richaad. Your cover of Field of Hopes and Dreams is currently my favorite instrumental song, I love how "all around you" it feels, I even sometimes listen to it to combat depression and anxiety - no joke - and I also dig your covers of The World Revolving, Papermoon, and Bad Apple.
