Fantastic author. Her stories can be so dark, but she seems to be so lovely and bright. She's a true talent.

Rowan Jackman is about as good as it gets as a boss; loved the novel and looking forward to the next.

Just read the book, expect the unexpected at the most odd times, the language was top notch, and this truly what I think a thriller should be like, big fan

Such a great series… and I totally agree - Richard Armitage is the perfect choice for Rowan Jackman!! I downloaded all books after the first half hour of listening and out them into chronological order (which I thouroughly advise) and have finished them in just over one week… I will need to check-out Nikki Galena next 😅

I personally prefer to read books but as a big fan of Richard Armitage I heard about this book and bought a physical copy, I am nearly finished, it is very good! Thanks Joy for a brilliant book.

I am really enjoying these stories in ebooks from our local library so ably read by one of my favourite actors, Richard Armitage. He has such a clear voice (a great help to me as someone with hearing problems) and I love the way he does different voices/accents for different characters. I love the fenland setting as it gives the stories even more of and air of mystery. I have just finished The fourth friend (which I really enjoyed though I would have liked the end to have worked out differently) and am looking forward to listening to the next one in the series.
