Richard Ayoade was the president of the Cambridge Footlights, the British (and much older) version of the Harvard Lampoon, which makes him giggling like an idiot of "bad dong" that much funnier.

Richard's my favorite comedian, but I don't think he would be a good fit for Taskmaster. It would be too far out of his wheelhouse for him to deliver the perfect kind of comedy that the show needs.

@@lyricsfromsweden If Paul Chowdhry and Romesh Ranganathan ended up working out, then so would Richard. While Richard is much more talkative, socially awkward/direct and wise-cracking than Paul and Romesh, he's just as stone-faced and out-of-place as them. It'd be hilarious to see him trying to complete whatever bullshit Greg and Alex can throw at them, alone or in teams, because he'd bring such a sharp attitude and wit to the show.

Observation: Ayoade and Davies have such a great relationship, and there's a lot of mutual trust and respect, that Greg puts his hand on Richards shoulder at 9:25 and makes a request in jest, and Richard doesn't retort with his rapid fire "Don't touch me" response that he usually flippantly uses with everyone else. It's a small observation, but an interesting one, nonetheless. I really do like Greg Davies, because he's never stopped being a "teacher" at heart.

This was probably one of the best episodes of Big Fat quiz. Perfect selection of guests who all worked off eachother and nobody ever really stole all the attention or overshadowed anyone else.

I hate the fact that every now and then I’ll just be doing something, then out of nowhere Greg and Richard losing their shit at Bad Dong will come to mind and I have to try to restrain myself from laughing. I was in the middle of a Zoom meeting and Greg saying Bad Dong just came to me and I had to bite my tongue incredibly hard to stop myself from bursting out with laughter. What is it about bad dong that’s so funny? When I just typed it I started smiling, my god why is it doing this to me
