Great, great stuff here. Hear the Tony Rice licks and also some Jimi Hendrix in there. Really good practice material. Where has this guy been that I missed this 3yr old video? Still around I hope. Want to hear more from him. 🙌🏻👍🏻

Just started watching vid (4 mins in) and I’m impressed with the players right hand! So fluid and smooth as silk! All great players possess that attribute! Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle just to name two! Thanks for posting!

This is incredible, it’s the absolute best lesson on Tony Rice style rhythm playing I’ve ever seen in my 48 years playing guitar. He even throws in plenty of Tony’s single note licks. Plus Richards own ideas blended in too. What a great player and teacher he is!!! Thank you so much for posting!

Awesome video! This might get some panties ruffled but I’ve always liked Richard better than Tony. 😮

I love Tony’s playing and his music so much and there’s a lot can learn from there but id rather be able to play like Norman Blake personally..he’s mentioned a lot but not nearly as much as Tony, Clarence, and Doc

@@user-ok2xy5oz8vMusic is so personal and spiritual, it speaks to our soul. Thats why many of us like or prefer one player over another. But that doesn’t mean one is “better” than the other. They are ALL great pickers/musicians…and there are SO many good players out there! Just enjoy the God given gift of music and remember to be kind to others or as the good book says to “love your neighbor as yourself”!
