Ballade pour Adeline is a 1976 instrumental composed by Paul de Senneville and Olivier Toussaint. Paul de Senneville composed the piece as a tribute to his newborn daughter, Adeline. The first recording was by Richard Clayderman and world-wide sales now have reached 22 million copies in 38 countries. It remains Clayderman's signature hit.

When I was younger, my grandparents always played piano pieces like this on their speakers and at that age I never really understood what certain emotions pieces conveyed , but it always made me happy while listening to it. This was one of my mothers favorite, she passed away 10 years ago. Now I have a beautiful family and pray to god he allows me to live long enough to where I can dance this with my daughter in a future.

My father loved this song, he had a CD and my grandpa even a casette, and I remember when I was little they'd always let me listen to this song. My father passed away 16 years ago, I barely remember him, but this always reminds of him, I listen when I'm blue, and it has magical effect. Thank you Richard Clayderman, and you Toms, for playing it beautifelly.

This is my grandma's favorite song on the piano. She's loved it since she was a kid and comes to tears whenever she hears it. This song was on a CD that you put in your stereo and it would clean your system. I would clean the stereo all the time just to hear this song. I never thought to check what the song was called but that was back when I was like 11?12? I am 31 now and finally found this!!! Brooooo!!!
