Love the story from the Irish Late Late show when he is living in London with his wife and he goes out to get the newspaper and goes to Dublin for it. He's gone missing for a few days and his brother eventually calls him and tells him he needs to get home because his wife is ready to divorce him. So he arrives back to London rings the doorbell at 3 in the morning because he can't find the key and he could tell from the way she was walking down the stairs that she fuming and when she does answer the doorbell his response is "why didn't you pay the ransom". A Classic Richard Harris story. I lived in Ireland in the 1980's and I became great friends with a Jesuit Priest in Limerick who was Richard Harris's 1st cousin, (Fr. Paddy was a couple of years older). Whenever Richard was in Limerick they would visit and Richard gave Fr. Paddy the exact same salutation, "Paddy are ye praying for me you're my only hope of getting into Heaven". Fr. Kelly lived to 99 so I think it is safe to say Richard made it in to Heaven.

Why am I attracted to him?? He's an old man, but so youthful and charming. A great storyteller. Also I can't believe I watched the whole interview and only after reading the comments I realized he was Dumbledore!

I loved every story he told and was sad when there were only 3 of them! I could have listened for hours to Richard's escapades! All would have me laughing and listening to every word! RIP RH!

We had at least 35 Irishmen like Mr. Harris in my old Irish neighborhood in Philadelphia, it was like being raised in Ireland.. All we did was drink and laugh.. amongst other things.😂☘️ He would have fit right in.

I looked up who the lead actor playing Macbeth was in that production Richard mentioned. He said he hated him and called him a racist so I was curious who it could be. It's listed on a theater archive site as Glynn Edwards. He was in the Minder Brit TV show and the film Zulu. The play was in 1957 at the Theater Royale at Stratford East. Then did more research on the name of the play that Richard did with Peter at the Old Vic Theater. He didn't mention the title. It was called The Pier and ran from 1957 - 1958.

Edwards was Dave the barman in Minder. He was also in Get Carter and was stabbed to death by Michael Caine.

Hard to believe GlynnEdwards was the offending actor.Never a lead actor a good supporting actor.perhaps the ego of a younger man
