Richard is a masterful songwriter of beautiful, moving, powerful, and deep music. His cascading melodies and chord progressions sweep me off my feet and into another realm, for sure! Very soulful stuff.

Just like many others who made a comment, I discovered him by accident via Belgium Radio 1 and bought 3 of his cd's in one week. In my opinion one of the best singer/ songwriters but not discovered by the big public only by the happy few.

Yes! Please send him here where he can play small, intimate venues to non-sellout crowds where those of us in the know can truly enjoy his wonderful gifts. Either that or make flights to Dublin a hell of a lot cheaper! Only discovered him recently when I heard his dulcet tones in Amoeba Records in Hollywood and immediately went to find out what magical elixir it was. It was actually a used copy of his Truelove's Gutter, the only copy in the place, so when they were finished playing it, I bought it! I've been a huge fan ever since.

My god, what a monster talent. I too found him too late in life... Still enough time too catch up though! That solo on "Leave your body behind"... He can do it all.

Wow, just discovered him through Elbow and love his music, especially the song "Remorse Code"

Hardly a bad track on any of the 7 Lps he's done solo so all the gigs are amazing ,tho remorse code is brilliant at this gig.

I discovered 'Nothing like a friend' and I was hooked. A bit like 'White Ladder' by David Gray years ago. Drowning in nostalgia.
