Richard's work takes inspiration from the large slipware chargers of Thomas Toft and the 17th Century harvest jugs and sgraffito ward off the North Devin Potters whose pottery was taken on the Mayflower.
Since being a finalist on the Pottery throw down series Two, he has broaden his skill base and giving him freedom to develop slip-work with a more contemporary feel.
