He was huge there for a few years in the '80s. His voice was magical really. That's the only way I can describe it. As a vocalist myself and looking back all those years and listening. Just a great voice

Sorry disagree but did you realized that this is a acoustic version, only voice and guitar and without any effect like autotune or something else? Richard Marx still singing the same, just give to him a great band, stage and production.

@@carlosjsb Thank you captain obvious for pointing out that this is acoustic. You may disagree all you like. You may have noticed that Richard transposed the song to a lower key in this performance. That's because he doesn't have the same vocal range anymore. It happens to all singers regardless of how good they are, nothing wrong with that but, this is the first time I've heard it in his voice.

Anton, this was sung in the morning. Many artists don't do that well at that time of the day. Second, he performed almost every night so he may be a bit tired. Listen to the Beachin episodes and then tell us what you think.
