In the movie, RHPS, my favorite character was Frank. Love Tim Curry and all that-But I absolutely adore and admire Richard O'Brien. The fact that he not only basically wrote the whole movie on his own (I'm sure he had some help somewhere in there) but also all of the songs!?! Absolutely brilliant. And he seems like such an interesting guy, nice guy too. Positively nothing but love and respect for this man.

Had a giggle when Richard says the play could be considered unpleasant because of the sex, drugs and rock n' roll. No mention of the cannibalism 🤣

Hey I met Richard O'Brien once in Edinburgh during the festival in the mid 90s. He had a show called Mephistopheles Smith. Fckin amazing show. He was in a bookshop. SUPER nice guy. Talked as if he was a friend. Very intelligent lovely guy.

RIP Paul O'grady, such a sweet, funny gentleman. Passed away peacefully at home yesterday, 28th March, aged 67, just been announced today, 29th March Loved watching the lily savage show in the 90s. RIP Paul O'grady. 14th June 1955- 28th March 2023.

Richard O'Brien is awesome! He was in Hamilton (my home town) this year for OLIVER! the musical. I was in it, and collected hi fives from everyone. I got two smashing hi-fives from Mr. O'Brien and talked to him a couple of times. I even love the way he walks. Such a spring to his step and lightness in the way he talks. Mr.O'Brien is my inspiration and my hero. You rock!

This is going straight into my favourites- I was watching this very interview in hospital when I was in labour with my daughter. Rocky has always been one of my greatest joys, so Richard's was a very comforting presence! Thanks for uploading!

Saw the stage production on TV on Halloween this year, have to give my love and say, SOOO loved Stephen Fry but so good to see Richard O'Brien return to his baby. The best stage/movie ever created, man how many people of different ages still either love it or are learning about it and loving it! Totally awesome!

I could listen to Richard O'Brien speak forever! It's just one of those voices. Six solid years of Friday night at midnight going to see Rocky Horror with all of the paraphernalia might have something to do with it but I don't think so. :-)

The coolest person in the world. I still can't believe he actually created something so UTTERLY BRILLIANT as RHPS. It's.. divine. And also - his singing voice is the most wonderful EVER. (A while a ago I was very anxious of being a genderqueer but when I heard Richard identifies as transgender or third sex, I will always be PROUD AS HELL :D)

What an exceptionally talented & interesting artist Mr. O'Brien is! I was in middle school when RH fever hit my town, or more aptly, caught my attention. One of our local theatres, the Warner, showed it Sats at midnight for the longest time. I recall them stopping the film mid-movie one night, turning on the house lights, and warning us audience member/Rocky Horror revellers that if we didn't tone it down some, they'd cease it's run for good (our raucous toast tossing, among other things, was damaging the screen - a costly & integral part of the show). I get it now. Then, we just thought they were grumpy, stuffed-shirt grown-ups who cared not for fun.

I loved hearing the audience participation from the first time I saw the movie. I guess it could bog down the LIVE show though. I remember hearing the people shouting out during my initial viewing of it and going, "What is going on??! Wow! They're really clever. How are they doing that?" Little did I know that was just the first of many more viewings where I was happily calling out the lines and participating all the shenanigans and having water pistil fights after the movie got out.
