Richard Riakporhe vs Fabio Turchi Full Fight Highlights
British cruiserweight Richard Riakporhe moved closer to a world title fight after a destructive victory over Fabio Turchi in an IBF eliminator.
Riakporhe, 32, maintained his unbeaten record with the 15th win of his career after a stunning second-round stoppage.
The Londoner floored Turchi with a brutal left hook body shot and although the Italian beat the count, his trainer ran into the ring to end the contest.
"I feel great, I didn't have much time to get into it," said Riakporhe.
"I landed a good shot and I'm building up the reputation that I'm now the body snatcher. Call me the body snatcher now.
"There were some points I was trying to target, my coaches are amazing. We had a gameplan, keep it long, but look for the opportunity and when you can punish do it and that's exactly what I did.
"I keep telling everyone, I'm the fighter. I've had four fights in nine months and want to go out again [later this year]. We're taking over, all these champions are running scared."

Riakpohre is a beast, he is gifted phisically and with a good technic. Please I hope that British fans understands that Turchi is a really good boxer and give him another opportunity in these important stages because he can really be entertaining. Congratulations to Riakpohre because that liver shot could kill a horse, I hope he will become world champion.

@ManiacMonckey he is a beast for sure, I’m sure Turchi will fight again in the UK. I’m pretty sure the average person would still have the wind knocked out of them now from that body shot.

Peccato x fabio avrebbe fatto sicuramente un bel match ,ma quelli sono colpi che quando entrano fanno male ! Ottimo lavoro da parte dell'angolo concordo pienamente con la scelta del coach di interrompere il match ,in quella fase Fabio stava ancora recuperando ed avrebbe preso altri colpi tremendi.

Just found out about this guy from his post on Francis Ngannou's tweet. Wow. That liver shot was precise, deadly, and patient. You could see it translate through Turchi's entire lower abdomen in the slow mo.

Si anche perché turchi è un bell animale. Secondo me richard vince anche il prossimo ribattendo smith e diventa campione. Spero che fabio abbia un altra possibilità buona🤞🏻

angolo di m...ha preso mezzo colpo in 2 round...buttano la spugna...si era pure rialzato,avrebbe legato un po e portato a termine il round...

@Fernando Scatena penso che avrebbe continuato se il suo angolo non fosse saltato dentro, non so quanto sarebbe durato mentre si è inginocchiato di nuovo dopo che il suo angolo ha interrotto il combattimento.

Ma cosa stai dicendo, hai visto che colpo è arrivato e dove soprattutto??? Al fegato non si recupera in una manciata di secondi, han fatto benissimo a bloccare il match , un occhio esperto ha visto nell’immediatezza che l’incontro era finito , gli son stati risparmiati colpi tremendi perché non aveva modo di difendersi !!! La boxe 🥊 vera è anche questa , preservare la salute dell’atleta ed evitare tragedie . In questo specifico caso non c’erano speranze se avesse continuato ; anzi …..

Spiacemoltissimo per turchi, penso avrebbe potuto fare molto meglio, purtroppo con il colpo al fegato c'è poco da fare. Si merita una seconda occasione di sicuro.
