This mix is absolutely astounding. Such a good highlighting of the main point from two perspectives. It brings out the depth of it, just like two eyes instead of a singular one. Thank you for putting this together.

Fisher’s workbook, “Transforming the Living Legacy of Trauma, A Workbook For Survivor’s and Therapists” discusses how to work with parts as an integrative activity. Quite helpful.

The assumption stated is that the physical material structure of the brain is basic to understanding who we are and how we operate. I believe it is the natural assumption that occurs among those who think within a physical materialistic and thus limited perspective but suggest we keep an open mind toward broader perspectives or we will be left behind and surpassed by those with a wider perspective.

Great information thank you, but like a few others mentioned, it would've been much better without any background music.

Interested in the next, spiritual level of this conversation? We are excited to share on our channel a groundbreaking interview with Dick, with the below description. In this fascinating conversation, Dick discusses for one of the first times the spiritual implications of working with parts of self. In line with many traditions of the ancient world, we appear to have many parts that we are not consciously aware of. Though most of those parts belong to us, and are best integrated and healed, some parts do not. It is these that need to be removed, and their apparent sentient nature shakes up much of what current, scientific psychology is willing to see and accept. No matter what your views, you will be fascinated by Dick’s honest report of his decades of experience working first-hand at the crossroads of psychology and spirituality. Clinical evidence has shown that IFS works, and it is one of the most widely trained psychotherapy interventions today. We cannot, then, easily dismiss Dick’s wealth of clinical experience. The implications of this conversation are immense and only beginning to be understood. Deep gratitude to both Dick and his guides for their willingness and clarity in giving this thirsted-for guidance to the psychedelic provider community.

Two things: one, no background music; two, no triggering video images, such as domestic violence. Thank you.

The Right brain is not as detached and objective and factual as the Left brain which can detached and dissociate by purring life into words. The right grasps with immediate experience and has less dissociative characteristics and is more present to the situation including feeling it. So better decisions and a better grasp of reality can be achieved by the Right brain.
