@@artymunoz5060 He is ready to fight boxers like Anderson, Hrgovic, Joyce, Sánchez, Ruiz, etc. If he manages to beat any of them, he can try a rematch with Jalolov (although it is not recommended due to style) or face Joshua. I have followed his amateur career and he has the potential to be one of the top 5 in the division. These rivals do not contribute anything to him because in the amateurs he has already faced much better people. A good Olympic boxer like him does not need to build a false record because he already has enough experience to face greater challenges. There are good amateur boxers who have fought for the title with about 10 fights. Superstars like Lomachenko even before.

I like this Torrez kid. He’s sharp, moves like a middleweight, and has devastating power. He’s facing Curtis Harper next, which will be a decent step-up opponent. Harper is a career journeyman at best, but may be able to give Richard the rounds he needs. They’re moving this dude through the ranks the right way. I see good things for his future in the ring.

I will check on Torres in about 10 fights to see what he has become. Right now he is chasing Peter McNeeley on skill set. If your my age (near 60) you have seen 1000 guys come thru the Boxing turnstile with only a few to elevate to its highest level. That being said not to much hasn't been seen before and its gonna take something special to get my attention. At 24 being a Heavyweight favors older aged guys, (Ray Mercer comes to mind). If he has a chance He needs 3 plus years to make his case. Wish him the best.

This kid is exceptional and he has been brought along perfectly. He has very good footwork in that he positions and angles nicely. I vant really tell whether he is naturally a right or left hander because he has been effective with both. All he needs is just what he is getting, seasoning with a good choice of opponents. Within two years he will be top ten and have some impressive wins. Height is always a factor but it can be used advantageously by a schooled fighter. Plus hes got tree stump legs. he wont be bullied around.

honestly, I dont see him as anything great. Compared to those that will still be around by the time he reaches the top ten like Andy Ruiz and his up and coming rivals, he lacks speed and power also leaves himself open for counters. Right now, he's fighting nobodys and learning nothing ... classic hype job. not saying he doesnt have skills, but he needs to fight better competition if he's as good as they imply ....
