Oscar-winning animator Richard Williams recalls discovering the handiwork of Milt Kahl in "The Jungle Book" at "This Amazing Medium with Richard Williams" from the Academy's Mark Davis Celebration of Animation on October 4, 2013 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

I saw the Thief and the Cobbler at the BFI in London a couple of years ago with a Q & A by Richard Williams. He was awesome. His Christmas Carol is the bar set for everyone else who does that story.

Richard's perspiration almost defines him. took him 4 min to take off his jacket.

that was the most pointless and annoyingly slow story ever. what ever gave this man the notion that he is good st story telling?
