Richie Kotzen-all along the watchtower-monsters of rock cruise 2019

In my humble opinion Richie Kotzen taken as a whole is potentially on par with the greatest talent out there and for sure the most overlooked due to the music industry chaos. His music is masterful, he hasnt been afforded the luxury my main man Eric has and yet his catalog of music is up there with the greats despite having to do it grass roots compared to many other artists.
@MattFoleysGhost5 жыл бұрын
Don Weber Rocks heyday is over and passed on to hip hop. Kotzens a master of genre that is no longer pop music. Unfortunately he's the .1% of talent that can sing and play that well - Ian Thornleys about his only peer I can think of.

Maybe you're cool, but you'll never be as cool as Ritchie Kotzen ripping a Hendrix classic with his wife on bass.

He reminds me of Prince in a lot of ways. Rocky-Funk-Pop thing on top n' Kind of Fusion-y inside. ..it's 🤣..as I typed that they played the outro which was very similar to a 💜 outro! *Saying all of this in a flattering way, not a "rip of" kind of way.

RK is an absolute beast and totally kills this song, but the reason why most All along the Watchtower jams sound the same is because the bass player and drummer didnt learn the proper parts. if you listen to the Hendrix cover. its pretty complex
