I missed him precisely 11 years ago that is passing from first and only one Bon Jovi's Concert in Gdańsk Poland!

He, like the other band members was also interviewed for his perspective, why didn't he dwell on the effect of their music on the world. Every opportunity he gets, he makes a dig at Jon, and then turn around and suggest he wants a reunion with the band.

The band has done theirs, in which the opportunity was given him to speak his mind. If he doesn't like the end product nothing stops him from making a short documentary and letting us see things from his perspective.

Nope, Jon actually care about his fans, which is why he is not touring. Plus now it almost feels like a cover band with Jon shanks.

You didn't miss too much, they trashed Richie and his 5 minutes on the doc were heavily edited, other than a couple of seconds by Desmond Child, nobody cared about Richie.

We will probably never know unless we hear from both sides. It's been 11yrs though, I think Richie should move on, Jon said the band has moved on.

Phil X is a great guitarist and seems to be an awesome dude just to be around, however I feel if Richie actually comes knocking on Jon's door tomorrow, Phil X's job in Bon Jovi could be over in a heart beat unfortunately

I dont think you are right , as obviously Phil X is Jon's new ace of spades, for what you say to happen, Richie will have to gather up to Jon's terms , which won't happen now. And , Richie does not seem to be interested to be part of tbe band , i think he is done with the band a very long time ago, he said :《 stale》 And also at some point years ago : 《 not much happening on the music scene》, i think the effervescence is gone , the chemical reaction jon & Richie isn done.🤔

If only that was demonstrated when he left the band I would believe that, but he is literally lost in the system and his music is making no impact, that causes me to wonder.

True, Richie's voice coupled to Jon's were magic, but like it was proved in the doumentary, he wasn't on board with Jon's new approach, so Jon very easily gave his parts to Shanks and stapled it, that's why I think the rest of the band agree with Jon, if they disagree he'd give their parts to Shanks or whoever wants to do them and so be it, Bon Jovi is no longer a band named after the lead singer, now it's just Jon Bon Jovi and whoever wants to play for him.

Well, I think Bon Jovi are known all over the world. They have toured not only in North and South America, but also in Europe, Asia, Australia and played gigs in Africa.

It has always been Jon and the rest employees including Ritchie. He didn't have to join, but he did and made millions. If he doesn't agree with what was in the documentary,what stops him from making his own documentary, this subtle digs at Jon is old, the next minute he wants a reunion and also to write with Jon, in his dreams.

@@RitaMahama-uy3ll no it was not. If you check credits from 1983-2011 they employed song writers like Desmond Child, but Sambora and other band members were involved to writing process. By the time Jon decided to do everything on his own like solo artist with biggest ego on the earth and released a few terrible albums. If I was Sambora I would leave the band too.
