Priceless & Speechless !!!! I just turned 50 and I lost my Dad when I was just in my early twenties and I’ve never stopped missing him. I was the youngest and he did and took me everywhere with him and just like yours my Father was a tough man, but a man with an amazing heart. My love for Knifes, Hunting, Shooting, Outdoors, and Race Cars / Hot Rods came from him. He had a Jewelry box with several of his traditional Pocket knifes, and I was so enamored by them and he told me when something every happens too me these are yours, and that’s where my Love of knifes came from. My Dad also wasn’t a perfect Man, far from it, but, he was my Dad and was a tough stern amazing snd Loving Dad and He was whom I looked up too. I had hard time for many years and down the road and by and through the loss I had it taught me even more of what an amazing Dad he was, even though he wasn’t perfect like the rest of us aren’t. I still miss him and always will until one day when I breath my last and then when I’m in the presence of My Lord & Savior Jesus Christ and I will want too thank him for Blessing me with a Dad that The Lord provided for me and the Dad / Father that I needed. Michael 🙏 Blessings and you did an Amazing Job, and The Intimidator #3 was the Man !!! Love The Knife that was your Fathers and yours, But, The Story of Yours and Dads Life is Priceless. He did a wonderful Job Michael, and the way you carry yourself proves it. The Lord hates the Proud , But , Gives Grace to the Humble !!! You have it Michael I hear it from you in all of your content and if you listen to everything everyone says about you it’s not just about what your producing and or doing it’s about who and what you are. As my wife says Do you know why my cooking 🧑‍🍳 is good… it’s because I sprinkled it with my Love. You are putting your Heart ❤️ and soul into your Leather work and who and what you are and who and what your Dad was is being poured out through your Leather work. Your Dad did a great job Michael. Your Fit & Finish with what you are making and your words and mannerism is being poured into your products and that’s priceless and that’s why others are Loving your Slips and Content, and that’s why I Love it too. The Lord Jesus has and is surely Blessing you. Thank You Michael for the words you Spoke and touched my heart. Keep doing what your doing. Hopefully I will be able to get a few more of your slips and just like our dads we’re to us I’ll be able to have a few Slips and traditional knifes to Leave to my Two Sons. It’s more then the Leather it’s the Man behind the work m, and the stories. Bye the way your not a Goof, your doing a great job and Amazing work with your Heart and Love Poured into your work and it shows. I’m glad I came across your channel and found out about the Amazing Leather work you are producing. Keep it up Michael I think it’s better and bigger then what you think that it is. Your humility is the true gift. Have a Blessed weekend 🙏👍

This touched my heart...got me emotional. My dad just died last year / cancer...sudden diagnosis, died quickly. He was blue collar , hard working carpenter. He could be strict, cold, but while it caused me to argue with him in my youth...in my adult phase, I get it. May your dad rest in peace...THEY ARE THE LAST OF THEIR KIND...TODAYS YOUNG "MEN"....DONT COMPARE

Hey, thanks for video and sharing about your Dad. As I married and have gotten older, I realize how much my Dad loved and taught me without realizing he did so. Glad to hear yours was a strong individual, and a teacher...we need more of those these days. I lost my Mom last month, very sudden and huge loss for our family. As healing starts, I remember the things she did for us and the way she loved everyone. Mom was a Children's Director at a church for 30 yrs, during visitation the family and folks that came filled the funeral home! What a unknown legacy she carried, and sounds like your Dad left one thru you (thumbs up), thanks again!

So cool that you have his knife, something that he kept so close to himself for so long, that’s very special.

I lost my own father on November 5. *His* father carried a Schrade Model 1543 Safety Push-Button Automatic that's now mine...and as a USAF Lt. Colonel, he insisted "what're they gonna do?! Throw me in prison?!" Dad wasn't that cavalier; rather, he carried a Wenger Commander or Victorinox Standard Swiss Army Knife, rotating the two regularly. He initially showed limited interest in knives until his godfather, a German Jewish man who'd been the Chief Engineer aboard a WWI U-Boat (no, I don't know which one, but I do have a photo of him, his two superior officers, and the rest of the crew) told him "Billy, a pocketknife is the most useful tool you can carry." He explained how he'd used the handle on his Mercator K55K (which he removed the bail from) to help pry the cover off a broken depth gauge; if he hadn't fixed it, then nobody would've noticed they were slowly descending to crush depth. "Buy a lockback with a carbon steel blade" was his advice. Dad bought a Mercator K55K, but traded it for his first Swiss Army Knife and a Liter Friction Folder, collecting Victorinox and Wenger for the rest of his life. The last edge he ever put on a knife was on my Kershaw Injection 3.5, which I've since retired. The Victorinox Tinker that was my first real knife and the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 that I preordered before it ever dropped are also an enormous part of my father's legacy. He loved knives, guns, O gauge model trains, model cars, Britains Ltd. toy soldiers, more advanced model soldiers, building model airplane kits, and following baseball, which he did from 1952-2022, unfortunately not living to see who won the 2022 World Series; not living to see his successful prediction of "Astros in six" he made after Game 1 (he was a huge Mets fan, having been a fan since the franchise was added to the National League in 1962; prior to that, he was neutral, but pulled for the National League from 1959-1961, prior that, he followed the newly-minted 1958 San Francisco Giants, and before that, he was a New York Giants fan, continuing in my great great grandfather Nathan's footsteps that began in 1889). I miss him greatly, and that video was wonderful. Your father sounds like he was a fine man, and I feel the same way about my own Dad: "someone who knew THAT much is no longer on this earth."

It had 3 blades...the primary clip point was worn , and the secondary sheepsfoot blade was untouched..the small pen knife was worn to a nub..the yellowed jig bone covers are BEAT UP.
