Before streaming, before dvds, before vhs, we had to wait for the releases we didn’t catch at the theater-and we couldn’t WAIT!!!!! It was appointment viewing. The whole family would gather and watch. Thems was the days man. Makes now suck even more than it already does. Also before after effects and Cinema 4D graphics. These weren’t done on no laptop!

I am not sure they considered it a movie intro. Ironically, those shows would later be shown on the CBS Late Movie.

Correction: I forgot about that one. My apologies. The one from 1983-84 is still missing, though.

This really was TV worth watching when NBC,ABC andCBS always had great made for TV movies and miniseries almost ever night of the week . Then they all pulled the plug in the early 2000’s for reality Tv show garbage .That’s what tv is now cheap cheesy singing and dancing competitions . oh TV movies are just too expensive to make so we’ll go for cheap reality shows less expensive and really boring and outright stupid a lot of them year after year since 2002 . 🥱
