Hey all. Coming your way is a new Rick and Morty cover that I really wanted to try out. The last episode "Unmortricken" opened with an amazing theme and video package of Evil Morty's rise that culminated in a fiery battle against Rick Prime as he reluctantly joined forces with Rick and Morty.
Great episode and here is my cover of "Evil Morty's Backstory", original by composer Ryan Elder.
As always, thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy!

The Theme of a Triumphant-Victim……… The Only Morty in the Central Finite Curve to escape the Cycle of Toxicity permeated by Ricks and Mortys The Only Morty that broke free of his shitty grandpa’s control… He’s not the Rickest Morty, he’s just a Morty who realized he doesn’t need to put up with Rick… He’s damaged, but he broke free of the Cycle of Abuse, like a [Damaged Coda] the lyrics are prevalent… “Say you were me then you could see the view You know we are equally damaged Don't be a fool, make it easier You'll learn to say when Signal if you can't say, "no more" These lyrics from the [For the Damaged Coda] by Blonde Redhead are precisely what represent Eyepatch Morty’s True intentions… “Say you were me you could see the view” he’s saying to take a walk in his Shoes and look at things from where he stands as a Morty trapped inside the Central Finite Curve, “You know we are equally damaged” he knows that all Morty’s are equally damaged by the hurt and suffering that Rick’s inflict on them, “Don’t be a fool, make it easier” here he’s telling all his fellow Morty’s in the Curve to stop being so weak and make their life’s easier by cutting out the toxic Rick’s in their Life. “You’ll learn to say when” this line references his line in the season 5 final when he says “There ya go kid, now you’re evil morty too, sooner or later we all are… on THIS side of the Curve” it shows how he knows that in the end, all Morty’s who live their lives dominated by Rick are fated to end up the same as him. “Signal if you can’t say “no more” This line symbolizes how Eyepatch Morty is saying it’s okay to not want to be part of the Endless cycle of Ricks and Mortys Abusing and forgiving each other over and over, and that it’s alright to want to break free like him, even if it means turning your back on the one family member who thought of you as a- ““Partner”” Just like “Evil” Morty said in the Finale: “You can come if you want, don’t blame me, if you don’t.” What He’s really saying is this though: Any Morty could break free of the Toxic Cycle of Rick’s and Morty’s if they wanted to. It’s just that none of them CHOOSE To. In order to be free, you have to WANT to CHOOSE Freedom. That’s why he says “don’t blame me” because in the end, it’s THEIR choice that’s keeping them tied down to Rick. They can choose to rebel against the system and be like him of they want to, but instead they simply choose to take the easy way out and forgive their Rick’s for all the abuse and suffering they’ve endured. It’s a toxic and infinitely perpetuating cycle that consistently feeds into itself and makes all the victims involved Trapped inside with no Way Out. It’s a Relationship-Dynamic that hurts both Ricks and Mortys alike. Morty could choose his freedom like Evil Morty too if he wanted. We’ve seen him display some of Rick’s genius intellect a few times in the show on his own, and he’s proven more than enough times that the only reason he’s keeping his grandfather around is for emotional comfort and self-validation. Our Morty could easily become just as smart and independent as Evil Morty is and go on his own adventures with his own Portal Gun… But what does he do instead…? He comes crawling back to Rick with tears in his eyes whining and stuttering, and asks for Forgiveness… Eyepatch Morty is the only Morty in the entirety of the Central Finite Curve that managed to look past the individual petty squabbles of Ricks and Morty’s and see the Truth… The Partnership between Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith Is an Exploitative Delusion. It’s nothing more than a constantly ever-growing Systemic Sequence of Ricks abusing Mortys and Mortys getting mad about it but eventually forgiving Ricks. Over and over, the Series of unfortunate events that follow this pattern continue to permeate until it eventually becomes the Norm, and Rick and Mortys alike get used to it. Their emotions become dulled out and their relationship between each other becomes stagnant, resulting in more Ricks looking for “better” Morty’s to continue this half-voluntary arrangement for the sake of their own Ego and Satisfaction. It’s Unhealthy and Obtuse, but more than that it’s Damaging. Both to the mental states of Ricks who are constantly living their life’s in depression while pretending to be gods, and Morty’s, who become the living human punching-bags of their grandfather’s and become nothing but enablers to the egomaniacal Ricks who take advantage of their cooperation and compassion for their own toxic sustenance. Eyepatch Morty isn’t the “Rickest Morty” like everyone keeps saying: He’s just a Morty who decided to take his Rick’s advice seriously. “I’m tired of you weaponizing this half-assed threat! If you want Out THEN F*CKING QUIT!!!” -Rick Sanchez 79⊢⊇V You don’t want to be the Victim, then don’t… Go invent your own Happy Ending. No one’s going to do it for you.

@@leafyishereisdumbnameakath4259I think he is both. He became a sociopath because he was a victim. I also think Rick is a villain.
