He's in the hottest part of Australia in the middle of summer when no one and I mean no one goes out there, and he says the sun gets up at 4:30 but then after a leisurely breakfast of bacon and eggs he rolls up around 8ish and starts whinging about the heat ... hilarious, I've been waiting for some good comedy!

Hey Rick it can't be that very tough country if you can get a "fix or repair daily", ( Ford) out to the quartz reef. Especially if it is a Transit.And if anyone thinks that's a large quartz reef then go into the Mundaring Weir National Park area east of the dam and there are outcrops with a width of hundreds of feet that extend for miles . Now that's big.

Did you notice the bright shiny nuggets each and every time? I am calling BS on this because I have never seen a nugget come out of the ground that wasn't covered with a layer of silt, clay, or some kind of dirt coating. Dredging you can find clean nuggets, but I don't see any water other than what he is guzzling .

Good effort mate but you should get yourself a decent hat it's your neck burn that causes lot of heat stroke bit of decent shade in camp couldn't hurt either old school water bags that breeze cool are the go good luck.

I'm puzzled why you wouldn't detect at night in that heat, I'm guessing the TV Crew prefers light ! lol There's NO WAY you'd travel in that area, at that time of year, without 20L of water a day !
