It's both hilarious yet tragically ironic that Jerry finally finds a steady job that makes him happy (after a whole Season of Rick making fun of him for being unemployed), but then he loses his job through Rick's actions since anytime Rick becomes happy it backfires on or hurts Jerry.

Love that going from defending Rick midway through, to being reminded what a dangerous sociopathic genius he really is by the end 😅 Great reaction as usual!

That gag about the szechuan sauce when this episode aired actually had Mcdonalds re-release the product for a limited time. Everyone went nuts over it, there were people selling the stuff on the internet for hundreds or raising hell at the restaurants because they couldn't get any.

Something I love about Rick's rant at the end of the episode is, I remember how Game of Thrones was late in the series and on most peoples minds at the time. Rick's goal of taking over the family felt very inspired by the crazy antics of battling families in GOT. It's like he was watching it at the time too. I think that's why Morty is so distressed. He's just realized Rick was starting his Tywin Lannister arc. 😅

Season 3 is the point where they have enough foundation built up to start expanding the lore. Keep in mind that from here, not every episode will be a winner, and not every episode will make reference to existing lore, but when they do, they are played very well, and they snowball in impact. All told, Season 3 has three of the best episodes in the entire series.

Sometimes it's easy to forget how much a genius can often be a monster and Rick is a perfect example of that duality

Rick is the type of guy to get arrested by the Galactic Federation, then do an epic prison break, destroy The Citadel of Rick's and the Galactic Federation and space economy by setting their currency to 0, to get his daughter to divorce her husband so he can fully dominate the house.

A nice little nod to Rick's improv was when he said that Comedy comes in threes, that was the third time that episode they used the farting butt joke. Once in the coffee cup, once when Morty and Summer portal there briefly, and the one in his watch.

That reaction was PERFECT! Exactly how i felt when morty shouted "IF YOU THINK MY RICK IS DEAD HE'S ALIVE, AND IF YOU THINK YOU'RE SAFE THEN HE'S COMING FOR YOU!" I was like fuuuuuk thats C137 it must be true

I used to be bad at swallowing pills. It helps a lot if you put the pill on your tongue and then roll your tongue to the back of your throat and then swallow with a bit of water.

Fun fact. I used to be like you with pills. It was extremely difficult to swallow a single pill to the point I had to stuff my face with water and just do a huge gulp and hope the pill went down. I finally figured out "get the pill to the back of your throat then swallow" thing. It just... clicked one day. Now I can swallow a large handful of pills without any issue. I can't even explain exactly what or how things changed, but it's nice.

Great trick if you're having trouble swallowing pills or tablets, just take a bite of some sort of food (recommended to be something that doesn't fall apart immediately) and chew it to the point where you'd be comfortable swallowing, and then before you swallow push the pill inside the chunk of chewed up food (while it's still in your mouth) and just swallow all that. It'll just feel like you're swallowing a bite of food and it'll be easy as heck

Hey man, I have the same issue with swallowing pills! The water trick never worked for me, feels unnatural to swallow a solid while drinking. I actually just use food. Get a handful of chips, take a bite of food, or eat some other snack. Then chew that up and swallow the pill with it. Wash it down with water. If you think about it, you swallow chunks of food much larger than a pill on a daily basis, so just swallow your pill with it! Feels much more natural than with water. I hope this helps!

for your pill issue, your fear of choking on the pill is the reason you can't eat it. I solve my pill issue when i was a kid i saw my older brother also having a hard time eating the medicine pill. so when its my turn i said to myself either i eat this pill or die trying and i gag on the pill for a few minutes forcing it down with water (maybe cried a litte) then manage to finally eat the pill after that i no longer have problem eating pill medicine. long story short man up.

rick is by no means a hero or a “good guy” he’s done some really fucked up stuff for his own benefit. like don’t get me wrong he’s a great character and really cool but tbh he can be a pretty shitty father/grandfather/friend sometimes. I don’t necessarily blame him for why he is the way he is or why he does the things he does tho man has a really traumatic past shit can be hard to deal with hence the alcoholism. I mean he’s the smartest man in the universe while being a scientist and going on adventures with his 14 year old grandson while hiding from the government and whoever wants him dead while also trying to protect his family at the same time. you don’t burden all that and be a loving caring person all the time. But overall he truly does care about this version of his family 🤷🏽
