Yes rick is ruthless in this season but it still felt slow. The war should have ended mid season, with time skip and whisperer introduction for 9B. Carl never dies, rick never leaves. We get season 9 and 10 and show is done.

@@mortalhordewarrior9285 as much as rick leaving was a bad thing it honestly needed to happen, ever since rick left alot of the other characters have gotten alot of attention and Rick's return was a very hype moment. if Rick stayed in the show which other character is there to be exited about ?? that's just my opinion tho

I personally like this season only because of how ruthless Rick was to the saviors

The first half is awful. Super slow and absolutely no character development except for 1 and 4. And then carls death was terrible. The second half is criminally underrated tho I have to say. Simon arc of wanting to overthrow negan. Dwight’s character. Ricks character arc. That episode where the saviors infect the hilltops fighters. And an underrated season finale. Yes it has its flaws but it still feels like the walking dead and that’s enough Imo.
