When I first started reading TWD I always thought Timothy Olyphant would be a perfect fit for Rick Grimes but you're right, Lincoln smashed it out of the park.

Shane in the mirror was so genius. It shows how dark and brutal of a character rick had become just like Shane was. That was awesome

This tribute is by far the best tribute you have ever made and maybe one of the best I’ve seen! I love the cinematic look you gave it to look like a movie! The parallels and transitions make this all flow perfectly! Fantastic job!

TWD will return soon with 10th season so I start binge watching from the very first episode just for the nostalgia. And it hit me again: Rick Grimes is the heart of the show, its soul and purpose. The plot was going further because his actions, flaws and victories. Rick' story arc is one of the best in the history of story telling. Season 9 was incredible, but every fan from the casual to hardcore ones, felt the massive void that is Rick's departure. Don't get me wrong: Angela Kang's job was the hardest of them all in order to keep people coming back watching the show. I can't imagine what the show would become if Gimple was still in charge. Only the thought of it makes me cringe. I can't wait for the movies and I now I'm not the only one who wants more Rick Grimes badassittude in action. About your video: perfection. I wish that one of these days, Andrew Lincoln will watch at least one of your videos dedicated to his iconic character. Needless to say you will get - at least- a shoutout on Twitter.

I couldn't agree with you more, Rick made twd what it was. He was always the one shining star in the show, even when it was on a decline. Rick was such an amazing character. Season 9 is currently my favorite season, but part of what made it my favorite was the absolutely wonderful performance of Rick in the first 5 episodes! I'm glad you enjoyed the video as well! If Andrew Lincoln watched and shared one of my videos I might faint XD, that would be the greatest thing ever haha!!

I pretty much don’t get excited at all on Sunday anymore. Often times I’ll let that new episode sit for days before I get around to watching it. I almost bailed after the season 10 opener. Man, that was friggin stupid. I’m still on the fence as to whether I’ll continue watching; I just don’t care with Rick gone. I will check out the movie though. Rick Grimes IS TWD. It’s just lame without him.

Holy guacamole this was just perfection! The colour scheme, the transitions, the choice of scenes put together...amazing! It shows Rick as the bonefied badass that he was in the show! I will miss him as a part of it, despite the upcoming films.

The story of Rick Grimes is my favorite story ever! Just a normal working class father and then the world turns to shit and hes forced to do the worst things imaginable in order to keep the ones he loves alive. Hes lost so much its just so sad but yet through all the trauma and loss hes still remained to try and work to rebuild for the good of the world.

I don’t get people who hate on the walking dead. I feel like they don’t see the whole intensity of the show behind the fact that it’s a zombie show. I really liked this because I feel like it really shows how intense it all (and rick) can really be. This would be an awesome trailer if it was a trailer for the show as a whole

It is a crime that Andrew lincoln hasn't won an emmy. it is stupid that the Emmys ignore TV shows for the most part. The two actors who work on TV show deserve Emmys are Steven smell from the CW's arrow and of course Andrew lincoln but neither have won a Emmy for there performances and that's a damn shame.

True. He did some dark shit to survive. What always kept him back from that point however was his family. His family always meant he would do whatever it took to survive and keep them alive, but he would never quite get to the point of becoming a pure evil son of a bitch.

I actually loved this show until Alexandria. Watching him change and make sacrifices for a group of strangers and seeing how he handled seeing himself change was very interesting. I don’t really know what happened.
