One of the more cerebral and body aware instructors Ive seen. Very good. I just wonder if his ideas are easily integrated by all - he clearly has a natural physical self awareness.

Apparently Andre Bertel said something derogatory about Rick Hotton back in 2014 or thereabouts. I can’t think why, as they both look brilliant. Similar stature as well. Although Andre is a 7th Dan I think.

@@charlesjeffries8888- Forgive me for coming in late; Hotton-sensei has stated in other videos and interviews he won’t accept promotion past 5th dan. Keep in mind he’s been practicing now 50+ years.

@@fireblade9781 it goes back to funakoshi sensei and the Idea that in karate you have never arrived at the end but are always learning.
